Jason Kelce<\/strong><\/a> went head-to-head \u2014 or arm-to-arm \u2014 against an Olympian.<\/p>\n

While attending the 2024 Paris Olympics, the retired NFL star, 36, was challenged to an arm wrestle by Team USA rugby star Nicole Heavirland<\/strong>. The Olympian, 29, shared a video of the competition via Instagram<\/a> on Sunday, July 28, in which her teammates cheered her on to beat Kelce.<\/p>\n

Despite the encouragement, Heavirland ultimately lost to Kelce after putting up quite the fight. The two athletes shared smiles and a friendly handshake, but Heavirland couldn\u2019t resist poking fun at Kelce.<\/p>\n

\u201c@jason.kelce holding on to that table a little bit? \ud83e\udd23,\u201d she wrote alongside the clip. Kelce responded in the comments section, writing, \u201cHolding onto something with your off hand is completely within the rules of the International Federation of Arm Wrestling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many spectators are in total awe of Simone Biles \u2014 known as the GOAT in gymnastics \u2014 including one of her own Team USA athletes, climber Brooke Raboutou. \u201cI\u2019ve always been very inspired [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Jason\u2019s wife, Kylie Kelce<\/strong>, chimed in with a hilarious comment of her own, adding, \u201cI tried to warn you!\u201d<\/p>\n

Team USA\u2019s official Instagram account wrote that their \u201cjaws [were] dropped at this content,\u201d while another user wrote, \u201cJason Kelce to suit up for @usarugby next season, who says no? \ud83d\udc40.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Heavirland sported her Team USA gear for the arm wrestling match, Jason got into the patriotic spirit by wearing a pair of American flag shorts and a navy beret<\/a>. Jason has rocked his French hat while attending multiple Olympic events with Kylie, 31, including the U.S. women\u2019s rugby team\u2019s first two matches. The athletes began their Olympics journey on a high note with back-to-back wins against Japan and Brazil on Sunday. They are set to face off against France, the Games\u2019 host country, on Monday, July 29.<\/p>\n
