Sebastian Stan<\/strong><\/a> and Florence Pugh<\/strong><\/a> take the stage on Saturday night (July 27) at San Diego Comic-Con to talk about their new Marvel movie Thunderbolts<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n The costars are joining forces for the first time onscreen to save the day as the Winter Soldier and Yelena Belova.<\/p>\n Marvel teased some key details about the forthcoming movie while hosting a panel in the San Diego Convention Center.<\/p>\n Head inside to read more about the Thunderbolts surprises from Comic-Con\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Florence<\/strong> and Sebastian<\/strong> were joined onstage by their costars David Harbour<\/strong><\/a> (Red Guardian), Hannah John-Kamen<\/strong><\/a> (Ghost), Wyatt Russell<\/strong><\/a> (John Walker), Julia Louis-Dreyfus<\/strong><\/a> (Valentina Allegra de Fontaine), Lewis Pullman<\/strong><\/a> (Sentry) and Geraldine Viswanathan<\/strong><\/a>. Director Jake Schreier<\/strong><\/a> was also present with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n The group of stars shared some fun details about the movie during the panel. <\/p>\n For starters, it was confirmed that Lewis<\/strong> was playing a character named Bob, which fans believe is a reference to Sentry, also known as Robert Reynolds (via Empire Magazine<\/a>). <\/p>\n Florence<\/strong> told Variety<\/a> that she jumped off the world\u2019s second-tallest building while filming a stunt for the movie. <\/p>\n Wyatt<\/strong> wowed that people were going to \u201cf-cking love\u201d his character after his debut in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier<\/em> (via Variety<\/a>). <\/p>\n Both David<\/strong> and Sebastian<\/strong> praised Florence, with David<\/strong> calling his Black Widow<\/em> costar his \u201cfavorite\u201d in the cast. <\/p>\n \u201cShe is just electric to work with. There\u2019s warmth and humor, but there\u2019s also a lot of pathos,\u201d he gushed. <\/p>\n Meanwhile, Sebastian<\/strong> reflected on his many years playing Bucky Barnes, saying he felt that he had \u201cnine lives\u201d but was never sure how many were left. <\/p>\n Florence<\/strong> told the audience what makes the movie so much fun, saying, \u201cthe joy of watching them [this team of former villains] is that they don\u2019t play well together\u201d (via People<\/a>).<\/p>\n Marvel also shared some footage of Florence<\/strong> and Wyatt<\/strong> fighting, implying that we\u2019ll see some tension between the two. <\/p>\n Thunderbolts<\/em> premieres on May 2, 2025.
