So, how does the royal family feel? Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a> and Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/a> told their side of the story in their docuseries, Harry & Meghan<\/em><\/a> \u2014 and it might not sit well with other members of The Firm.<\/p>\n \u201cRage. I mean, look again, Harry talks about \u2014 almost matter-of-factly talks about \u2014 how his brother was shouting and screaming at him during this meeting [with Queen Elizabeth II<\/a>]. Terror and terrorizing, I think was the phrase used,\u201d royal expert Christopher Andersen<\/strong><\/a> exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on Thursday, December 15, referencing claims made by Harry, 38, about Prince William<\/strong><\/a> and King Charles III<\/strong><\/a> in the second volume of the Netflix series. \u201cWilliam has a tremendous temper. Charles has a tremendous temper. It\u2019s just not gonna be a pretty sight there.\u201d<\/p>\n In episode 5<\/a>, the Duke of Sussex recalled meeting with his brother, 40, and father, 74, at the queen\u2019s Sandringham House to discuss his and Meghan\u2019s plans to step down as senior members<\/a> of the royal family \u2014 which heightened tensions between Harry and his relatives<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me, and my father say things that just simply weren\u2019t true, and my grandmother quietly sit there, and sort of take it all in,\u201d Harry told the cameras. \u201cBut you have to understand that \u2014 from the family\u2019s perspective \u2014 especially from hers, there are ways of doing things, and her ultimate sort of mission, goal slash responsibility is the institution.\u201d<\/p>\n After viewing the final three episodes<\/a>, Andersen pointed out that \u201cthere\u2019s more to come\u201d with the release of Harry\u2019s memoir, Spare<\/em><\/a>, in January 2023. The King: The Life of King Charles III<\/em><\/a> author also questioned whether Harry and Meghan, 41, will attend \u2014 or even be invited to \u2014 Charles\u2019 upcoming coronation<\/a>, which is scheduled to take place in May 2023.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re going a long way to really severing all ties with the royals, I think,\u201d he told Us<\/em>. \u201cYou wouldn\u2019t blame the royal family, especially the new king, [for] being furious at the kind of disruption this is all causing.\u201d<\/p>\n As the drama continues to heat up<\/a>, royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti<\/strong><\/a> shared his own two cents on how Harry and Meghan\u2019s revelations may have been received across the pond<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI think the royal family wants to get on with doing what it does,\u201d he exclusively told Us<\/em> on Thursday. \u201cI think that maybe they had hoped that when Meghan and Harry left the U.K., it wouldn\u2019t just be a relief for them \u2014 it would be a relief for the family, and they could all get on with doing the things they wanted.\u201d<\/p>\n Sacerdoti continued: \u201cThey\u2019d made that valid decision that they didn\u2019t wanna be part of it, but that just hasn\u2019t happened. It\u2019s the opposite. They keep raking over all of this stuff and they keep bringing it back up again. It seems a bit like they have a vendetta against the family and I think the last three episodes gave something of a justification for why they feel that\u2019s OK, [and] why they\u2019ve got that vendetta, but it doesn\u2019t really hide the fact that they have and that they\u2019re making these constant attacks.\u201d<\/p>\n While the royal correspondent admitted that he can\u2019t speak on behalf of Charles, William or other senior members<\/a>, he predicted that they will \u201ctry very hard to carry on\u201d and \u201cwait for the next grenade to be lobbed\u201d in the heated back and forth with the Sussexes. The palace has not formally addressed the claims made in Harry & Meghan<\/em>.<\/p>\n In January 2020, Meghan and Harry announced their decision to step away from royal life<\/a> to become financially independent. The couple spent some time in Canada before settling down in California later that year.<\/p>\n The former military pilot revealed in the series that his desire to protect the Suits<\/em> alum<\/a> and son Archie<\/a> \u2014 who they welcomed in 2019 \u2014 was the main reason why they chose to relocate to the United States.
