Guess who!<\/p>\n

Ryan Reynolds<\/strong><\/a> and Hugh Jackman<\/strong><\/a> had multiple surprises in store for lucky fans who attended the Deadpool & Wolverine<\/em> panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 25.<\/p>\n

Not only did Reynolds, 47, and Jackman, 55, play the entire movie for the audience, but they also brought out some of the A-list stars who make surprise cameos.<\/p>\n

Chris Evans<\/strong>, Jennifer Garner<\/strong>, Wesley Snipes<\/strong>, Channing Tatum<\/strong> and Dafne Keen<\/strong> all joined the Deadpool & Wolverine<\/em> stars onstage alongside costar Emma Corrin<\/strong>, director Shawn Levy<\/strong> and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tIn case you didn\u2019t know Ryan Reynolds loves wife Blake Lively, he took every (adorable) opportunity he could to remind the world of that during Deadpool and Wolverine. (Spoiler Alert: Deadpool and Wolverine plot details ahead!) The first reference to Lively, 36, in the Marvel Studios film, which hit theaters Friday, July 26, came in [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It marks the first time the actors have appeared publicly to promote Deadpool & Wolverine<\/em> as the film hits theaters on Friday, July 26. Their cameos \u2014 save Keen \u2014 have been tightly under wraps until now.<\/p>\n

Evans reprises his role, not as the Marvel Cinematic Universe\u2019s Captain America, but as Johnny Storm\/Human Torch from 20th Century Fox\u2019s first stab at the Fantastic Four<\/em> franchise in the 2000s. Garner returns as Elektra from Fox\u2019s Daredevil<\/em>, Snipes as Blade, and Keen as Laura\/X-23 from Logan<\/em>. Tatum, meanwhile, finally gets to play X-Men<\/em> character Gambit on the big screen. The actor was set to star in his own X-Men<\/em> spinoff as the Cajun superhero, but it toiled in development at Fox and was eventually scrapped after Disney acquired the studio.<\/p>\n

The surprise appearance went down well with the Comic-Con crowd as the 6,500 people in Hall H erupted into applause, per footage posted via X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Deadpool & Wolverine<\/em> continues the franchise\u2019s trend of self-referential and meta jokes, including an apparent gag<\/a> about Garner\u2019s split from Daredevil actor Ben Affleck<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the third act, Elektra explains to Deadpool and Wolverine that heroes who have gone up against Cassandra Nova (Corrin), the movie\u2019s villain, have always perished \u2014 name-checking Quicksilver, Hawkeye and Daredevil as three of her victims.<\/p>\n
