Kristin Cavallari<\/strong><\/a> is admittedly in \u201cthe best shape\u201d of her life, but there was a time when she had an aversion to certain foods.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a period of my life where I would not go near a carb,\u201d Cavallari, 37, told Bustle in an interview<\/a> published on Thursday, July 25. \u201cI was even afraid of carrots for a while because I was doing keto coupled with intermittent fasting, and I actually think it messed up my metabolism, and it took me a year to stabilize. Now this freedom with food has been really nice.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former reality star said she\u2019s currently \u201ceating the most carbs I ever have,\u201d explaining that her life is \u201ccentered\u201d around her three kids<\/a>. (Cavallari shares Camden, 11, Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, 8, with ex-husband Jay Cutler.<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have any help with my kids. I don\u2019t even have an assistant right now, and so I just don\u2019t have time for anything else,\u201d she told Bustle. \u201cAll I want to do is make the money from my podcast and Uncommon James<\/a> and do what I need to do for those.\u201d<\/p>\n

After having three babies, Kristin Cavallari is aware that her body\u2019s changed \u2014 and she doesn\u2019t mind. \u201cI did sit on that [swimsuit] photo for a few days [before posting it]. Because I knew if I just threw it up and was like, \u2018Bun\u2019s out,\u2019 people were gonna be like, \u2018You\u2019re a [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Throughout the interview, Cavallari also spoke candidly about how her life has changed following her split from Cutler, 41, in 2020 after 10 years together.<\/p>\n

\u201c[The divorce] was when I let go of a lot of control, and I let life unfold before me instead of trying to plan everything and control everything,\u201d Cavallari shared. \u201cI\u2019m way happier and I\u2019m way more at peace in my life, so it\u2019s working for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cavallari was previously open about the weight that she lost while she and Cutler were filming Very Cavallari<\/em><\/a> \u2014 just ahead of their divorce.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was very thin,\u201d<\/a> the former Laguna Beach<\/em><\/a> star shared during an episode of her \u201cLet\u2019s Be Honest\u201d podcast last month. \u201cI\u2019ll put it in perspective for you guys. I\u2019m 5\u20193. I currently weigh 114 pounds. Filming Very Cavallari, I got down to 102, and I was eating the same amount of food that I\u2019m eating now.\u201d<\/p>\n
