Tay<\/strong>, a registered nurse who was set up with the Twilight actor by his sister.<\/p>\nTay isn\u2019t complaining, especially in light of some of the fringe benefits that come with being married to a star. \u201cObviously, there are fun things we get to do that I\u2019m so thankful for,\u201d says the 27-year-old, adding that sitting courtside at a New York Knicks game was one highlight.<\/p>\n
Adds Taylor with a laugh: \u201cIf I\u2019m speaking on your behalf, the coolest thing was maybe being on the set of a certain music video.\u201d (Last July, Taylor, 32, starred in ex Taylor Swift\u2019s<\/strong> \u201cI Can See You\u201d video.)<\/p>\nHere, the couple and cohosts of \u201cThe Squeeze\u201d podcast talk to Life & Style\u2019s<\/em> Lindsay Hoffman about married life, their new partnership with bug repellent brand STEM, and how Taylor feels about Tay being #TeamEdward!<\/p>\nTay, what\u2019s it like being married to a heartthrob?<\/strong>Taylor<\/strong>: Yeah, what\u2019s it like?Tay<\/strong>: It doesn\u2019t really feel different at home because Taylor is just one of the most kind, down-to-earth people.<\/p>\nAnd when you\u2019re out and about?<\/strong>Tay<\/strong>: If we want to go to dinner or go walking around the city, things like that look different \u2013 sometimes we can\u2019t really do it.<\/p>\nTaylor, did you prep Tay on how to deal with all the attention you get?<\/strong>Taylor<\/strong>: I don\u2019t think there\u2019s really a way to prep anybody for that. It took me years to figure that out, and I still haven\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>

She was on the other team, unfortunately, but her taste has corrected itself.<\/p>\nHow did he win you over?<\/strong>Tay:<\/strong> He was asking me questions about myself and my family and what I want to do with life and my career. He was very respectful right off the bat. He\u2019s easy on the eyes, too.<\/p>\nYou tied the knot in November 2022. Has your relationship changed since then?<\/strong>Tay<\/strong>: Our answer is always boring because we say nothing really changed.Taylor<\/strong>: We joke about it because our friends are like, \u2018The first year is the hardest.\u2019 And we\u2019re like, \u2018Is it? We\u2019re still waiting for it to get hard.<\/p>\nWhy did you team up with STEM to promote their new Light Trap?<\/strong>Taylor<\/strong>: We\u2019ve used it in our home, and it\u2019s been a game changer. I want every door open in the house, but Tay can\u2019t stand bugs. Now I get to open my doors, and STEM takes care of the rest.<\/p>\nWhat\u2019s your secret to a happy marriage?<\/strong>Taylor<\/strong>: Marrying your best friend makes it easy. Another thing is fights don\u2019t turn into fights; they become conversations. When you have that love and respect, you\u2019re able to put disagreements behind you.Tay<\/strong>: Yeah. It\u2019s less about the argument and more about finding a solution and making sure the other person feels heard.<\/p>\nWhat is your favorite show?<\/strong>Taylor<\/strong>: We like reality TV. We\u2019re either crime docuseries or trashy reality dating shows. Since I was a kid, I always watched The Bachelor. <\/em>Tay<\/strong>: Yeah. We\u2019ll watch Jenn\u2019s season for sure.Taylor<\/strong>: I like Too Hot to Handle. Perfect match<\/em>. Yeah, It\u2019s so bad but so good.<\/p>\nGo-to karaoke song?<\/strong>Tay<\/strong>: Oh, yours is \u201cDefeat the Huns,\u201d from Mulan<\/em>.Taylor<\/strong>: I wasn\u2019t going to say that, but I do love Mulan<\/em>.
