Bringing out their best looks! The 2023 CMT Awards<\/a> are in full swing and country music\u2019s biggest stars know how to rock a red carpet. These musicians dropped their guitars in favor of gowns and suits while arriving at the star-studded event on Sunday, April 2, and these outfits totally turned some heads.<\/p>\n Hosted by Kelsea Ballerini<\/strong><\/a> and Kane Brown<\/strong><\/a>, the annual event is taking place at the\u00a0Moody Center<\/span>\u00a0in Austin, Texas, and some well-known names are set to appear as the night goes on.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s going to be a completely different awards show,\u201d Kane teased to\u00a0CBS News<\/em><\/a> ahead of the big event, which usually takes place in Nashville. \u201cEverybody usually home in Nashville right afterwards. \u2026 After other awards shows we all have afterparties, everybody goes out, you get to go see everybody, tell them how good they did on the show. We\u2019re going to get to do that this year.\u201d<\/p>\n This year marks the third time in which the \u201cBlindsided\u201d songstress has hosted the show, but this time around is pretty special as Kelsea is having a powerhouse year following the February 14 release of her\u00a0Rolling Up the\u00a0Welcome Mat<\/i><\/a> EP.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHere\u2019s my healing journey. Here\u2019s my heart. Here\u2019s my truth. Happy Valentine\u2019s Day<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n Following the major release, Kelsea rocked the stage on her\u00a0Heartfirst Tour<\/em> and even made a special\u00a0Saturday Night Live<\/i> performance<\/a> earlier this month. She\u2019ll also take the CMT stage to perform.<\/p>\n This is also Kane\u2019s third time hosting the show! Just like his cohost, the \u201cGrand\u201d singer is having a huge 2023. He teamed up with wife\u00a0Katelyn Brown<\/strong> for the song\u00a0\u201cThank God,\u201d which hit No. 1 on multiple country radio charts. Kane will also be pulling double duty, hosting the CMT awards\u00a0and<\/em> performing the hit single with his significant other.<\/p>\n When it comes to performances, Blake Shelton<\/span><\/strong><\/a>,<\/span>\u00a0Carly Pearce<\/strong><\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0Cody Johnson<\/strong>, Keith Urban<\/strong><\/a> and\u00a0Lainey Wilson<\/strong>, among others, will rock the stage as well.
