Christina Hall<\/b><\/a> was \u201cdone\u201d with her marriage to estranged husband <\/span>Josh Hall<\/b><\/a> before they filed for divorce.<\/p>\n In light of their split, an insider told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> on Wednesday, July 24, that the pair had been \u201chaving issues for a while\u201d and Josh moved out of their shared home. \u201cChristina was trying, but things happened, and it just wasn\u2019t working,\u201d the source continued. \u201cChristina was done when she filed the papers. It\u2019s hard, but she\u2019s doing great.\u201d<\/p>\n Both Christina, 41, and Josh, 44, filed for divorce and cited \u201cirreconcilable differences\u201d on July 16. Christina listed their date of separation as July 7<\/span><\/a>, while Josh <\/span>filed his own paperwork earlier that day<\/span><\/a> and listed July 8 as their separation date.<\/p>\n The source went on to explain that the divorce could get messy, as the former couple didn\u2019t sign a prenup before they wed in 2022. Josh requested spousal support and an equal division of community property acquired during the marriage in his filing, which includes their $12.6 million Newport Beach, California, home and any rights to the Discovery and HGTV shows they worked on together during the marriage. Meanwhile, Christina didn\u2019t request spousal support<\/a> and asked the court not to award any to Josh.<\/p>\n \u201cChristina works very hard and is successful,\u201d the insider continued, explaining that money has been a source of contention for the pair. \u201cShe felt like Josh was not contributing enough to the household.\u201d<\/p>\n Soon after news of their divorce was revealed, an additional source exclusively told Life & Style<\/em> that Christina and Josh did everything they could do to save the marriage<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cChristina and Joshua just weren\u2019t on the same page anymore,\u201d the insider shared on July 19. \u201cShe really tried to make this marriage work, but it wasn\u2019t happening.\u201d<\/p>\n The source added that the \u201clast thing she wanted was to be divorced for the third time,\u201d referencing Christina\u2019s past marriages to ex-husbands Tarek El Moussa<\/strong> and Ant Anstead<\/strong>. \u201cThat was never on her vision board.\u201d<\/p>\n The exes are next set to appear on The Flip Off<\/em> alongside Tarek, 42, and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa<\/strong>. However, it appears that filming was already completed<\/a> before Christina and Josh filed for divorce.<\/p>\n \u201c[We] just started filming,\u201d the Christina on the Coast<\/em> star told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> on July 2 about the upcoming home renovation series, which is expected to premiere in 2025.<\/p>\n Christina added that she and Josh hadn\u2019t filmed any scenes with Tarek and Heather, 36, yet. \u201cSo I can\u2019t really say that I know what that looks like,\u201d she continued. \u201cOnly Josh and I have filmed together so far.\u201d<\/p>\n The mother of three also opened up<\/a> about filming the new project, adding that she\u2019s \u201cused to being the boss of everything\u201d on her shows and working with Josh created a \u201cwhole new dynamic.\u201d<\/p>\n
