\u201cI decided to play in disguise as somebody else,\u201d Plaza said during a live recording of Rapinoe and Bird\u2019s podcast<\/a> \u201cA Touch More,\u201d on Friday, July 19, per Rolling Stone<\/a><\/em>. \u201cI was like, \u2018No one will know it\u2019s me. It\u2019s great. And then, in the middle of the game, I went up for a shot and tore my ACL on the court in a wig. That\u2019s kind of like the worst-case scenario because I was trying to go undercover, and I just snapped my knee in half, basically.\u201d<\/p>\nShe continued, \u201cI had to be carried off the court, and that\u2019s when all eyes were on me.
