\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n F1<\/strong><\/a> driver Oscar Piastri<\/strong><\/a> came out on top this weekend at the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix<\/em><\/strong> on Sunday (July 21) in Budapest, Hungary.<\/p>\n The 23-year-old Australian driver is currently the youngest person on the grid in 2024, and just picked up his very first win in his second season in Formula 1<\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n Coming in second place was Oscar<\/strong>\u2018s teammate Lando Norris<\/strong><\/a>, and with their 1-2 placements, their team, McLaren, gained enough points to move up in the constructor standings to second place with 338 total points. Incredible \ud83e\udde1\u201d Oscar <\/strong>wrote on Instagram<\/a> in one post, adding with another, \u201cMoments that will last forever, still hasn\u2019t quite sunk in\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI dreamt of this day as a little kid back in Australia. A truly unbelievable feeling. Thank you to everyone who has helped and supported me and thanks to the team for this opportunity and all their hard work. Such a special day \ud83d\ude4f\u201d he added in another post<\/a> a little later.<\/p>\n \u201c[It’s] very, very special,\u201d Oscar<\/strong> said, via Formula1.com<\/a>. \u201cThis is really the day I dreamed of as a kid, standing on the top step of an F1 podium. Obviously a bit complicated at the end but I put myself in the right position at the start, and thank you to the team for an amazing effort, and amazing car.
