Another summer is over, and the season 5 islanders<\/a> have officially left the <\/span>Love Island U.S.A. <\/span><\/i><\/a>villa. After weeks of chats, icks and pies, which romances found in paradise will stand the test of time? Fans are wondering which season 5 couples<\/a> will actually stay together.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Are Love Island U.S.A.\u2019s Hannah and Marco Still Together?<\/h2>\n

Hannah and Marco instantly hit it off during day 3 in the villa. Despite producers bringing in Marco\u2019s ex, <\/span>Hannah Ortega<\/b>, into Casa Amor as an added twist, his head was not turned and the couple shared a sweet reunion upon returning to the main villa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hannah and Marco\u2019s connection was so strong that they were accused of \u201cgame playing,<\/a>\u201d which Hannah exclusively told <\/span>Life & Style <\/span><\/i>following their $100,000 win that she knows it\u2019s \u201cnot true.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI could care less if people say that we plotted to win. We\u2019ve just been ourselves the whole time,\u201d Hannah explained on September 1, revealing Marco didn\u2019t watch <\/span>Love Island <\/span><\/i><\/a>before joining the cast.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe made it to the finals \u2013 Marco didn\u2019t even know how the money thing worked at the end. He didn\u2019t know how somebody gets an envelope [full of the cash prize.] So, that just kind of shows how it wasn\u2019t something on our minds until it had to be in the final moments.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Hannah and Marco are still together. After leaving the villa, the pair introduced each other to their respective families and plan on making their long-distance romance work.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think this brings the best of both worlds. We\u2019re an hour from L.A. where she stays, and I\u2019m an hour from Miami where I stay. So I don\u2019t know. I don\u2019t know what could be much better than that,\u201d Marco told <\/span>Life & Style<\/span><\/i>. \u201cI was blessed enough to have my own place and I said open door policy for her. She can come and go as she pleases however long she wants to stay. I know she is going to love Florida. She\u2019s interested in it. So I\u2019m excited.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Kassy and Leo coupled up on day one in the villa. Despite Leo initially turning his head and deciding to pursue <\/span>Anna Kurdy<\/b>, he ultimately decided to recouple with Kassy after realizing their romantic connection.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, the tables turned once the couple separated for Casa Amor. Leo quickly found a connection with bombshell <\/span>Johnnie Garcia<\/b>, and their relationship quickly escalated to sex. Meanwhile, Kassy got to know <\/span>Matia Marcantuoni<\/b> and brought him back to the villa.<\/span><\/p>\n

When Leo and Kassy reunited in the main villa, Leo realized his connection to Kassy was the strongest and worked to win her back. While the Texas native initially was skeptical, Leo and Kassy coupled up right before the finale and finished in second place.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Leo and Kassy are still together and making their romance work outside the villa. \u201cHad to visit Cali with my 4liferrr,\u201d Kassy wrote via Instagram on September 1 alongside photos of their couple\u2019s trip to Disneyland. \u201cThank you guys for all the love and support! I can\u2019t express how much it means to me, I love y\u2019all! @leonardo_dionicio and I can\u2019t wait to share our journey with you guys.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bergie was seemingly dumped from the island on day one, but he was given a second chance and instead whisked away on a date with two bombshells.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Dairy Bell manager was unlucky in love during his time in the villa and it wasn\u2019t until Casa Amor that he found a connection with Taylor. Bergie was smitten with the Texas native, but his family wasn\u2019t so convinced. When the islanders received video calls from home, Bergie\u2019s grandpa, who he is also named after, felt his relationship with Taylor wasn\u2019t genuine.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTaylor is a beautiful woman but I have some reservations,\u201d his grandpa began. \u201cBecause I haven\u2019t seen spontaneous chemistry between the two of you. It looks more or less forced to me.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After placing in third place on the season 5 finale in August 2023, Bergie and Taylor are still together<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI went completely out of my comfort zone and went on a dating show! I put my heart out there for everyone to see, and tried to pursue a romantic connection while being filmed! Hardest and scariest thing I have ever done in my life!\u201d Bergie shared via Instagram in September 2023. \u201cSome may say I failed miserably, especially if you were watching those first few episodes! But, I ended up accomplishing everything I wanted to and more! I met Taylor and our relationship continues to grow and I can\u2019t wait to see what this year brings for us!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Carmen and Kenzo both live in Scottsdale, Arizona, and faced claims early on that they knew each other due to their instant connection.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I came in, Carmen was the first one that caught my eye. Like, right away,\u201d the Mexico native told producers in a private confessional. \u201cAnd so I think that chemistry right there that just started, it\u2019s almost like set a fire and it just hasn\u2019t gone away.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kenzo\u2019s brother directly addressed the claims from Kenzo\u2019s Instagram while he was in the villa. \u201cKenzo never knew Carmen prior to the show and he stopped going to that gym months before,\u201d he wrote in a statement on August 15. \u201cAnd regarding them following each other before Love Island aired is not true. Whoever runs Carmen\u2019s page started following Kenzo when they first coupled up.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the drama, Carmen and Kenzo<\/a> finished in fourth place on the August 28 finale.<\/span><\/p>\n

While the couple stuck together for several months, they announced their breakup on July 19, 2024. Carmen broke the news via her Instagram Story, per Us Weekly<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince you guys have been on this journey with me, it feels only right to let you know that me and Kenzo are no longer together,\u201d Carmen wrote. \u201cUltimately, we want different things [and] are headed down different paths.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Wisconsin native used Miley Cyrus\u2019<\/strong> hit \u201cFlowers\u201d as the music for the post.<\/p>\n

Just three weeks prior, the couple seemed to be happy in their relationship and were still leaving sweet notes for one another on social media. Carmen wrote, \u201cMi amor\u201d in the comments of an Instagram<\/a> post of Kenzo\u2019s on June 23, 2024. Kenzo responded with, \u201cMi princesa.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
