Google Messages has been the default for Samsung phones since 2022<\/a> when Samsung made the switch, which was a boon for RCS messaging.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Samsung didn\u2019t explicitly say it, the change only applies to phones sold in the US, according to Mishaal Rahman<\/a>, who regularly reports on Android rumors. Rahman says that versions of the foldables bought in Canada and Europe will still come with the app installed. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
