Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em><\/a> star Kyle Richards<\/strong><\/a> showed off her super-toned physique in a recent social media post. The reality TV star took to Instagram to talk about how sobriety helped her reach her weight loss goals.<\/p>\n Kyle, 55, flaunted her sculpted abs and arms as she wore a black sports bra and leggings in the photos while her dog laid behind her in her home gym.<\/p>\n \u201cThis week was my 2 year anniversary of being alcohol free (July 15th) I can remember a time when the idea of going 2 weeks seemed impossible,\u201d Kyle wrote<\/a> alongside the pictures on Thursday, July 18. \u201cI\u2019m proud of the fact that I\u2019ve had the willpower to stay on this path. I know many people would love for me to start drinking again. Even friends with the best of intentions.\u201d<\/p>\n The Bravolebrity continued, \u201cEveryone loved \u2018Party Kyle.\u2019 I think that was the hardest part of all of this. The resistance from others. The old me, the people pleaser, did struggle with that aspect of it. And I realized right away that I wasn\u2019t going to have a ton of encouragement.\u201d<\/p>\n Kyle went on to say that her \u201cmental and physical health became a lot more important,\u201d and that\u2019s partially what led to her decision to refrain from drinking alcohol. However, she admitted that \u201cthe fact that [she] looked better because [she] wasn\u2019t drinking was also incentive to not veer from the road [she was] on.\u201d The Halloween<\/em> actress also explained that she simply felt better when she wasn\u2019t imbibing.<\/p>\n Kyle also touched on her recent marital woes<\/a> with estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky<\/strong>. She explained that she felt like the struggles in her relationship<\/a> \u201cwould have been a lot harder\u201d if she had still been drinking.<\/p>\n \u201cI want to wake up every day feeling my best. Mentally & physically strong enough to face whatever comes my way,\u201d Kyle concluded. \u201cMany strangers come up to me and tell me that I have inspired them to start their own alcohol free journey. That makes me happy and inspires me in return. So, thank you for that. I often think of the Ernest Hemingway quote, \u2018I drink to make other people more interesting.\u2019 Personally, I prefer to see people and situations just as they are. AND without the hangxiety.\u201d<\/p>\n The same day Kyle posted the photos of herself, fans noticed that she also seemed to remove the word \u201cwife\u201d from her Instagram bio. Kyle\u2019s bio originally read, \u201cMom, wife, actor, producer, animal lover\u2026\u201d but has now been changed to \u201cMom, actor, producer, animal lover\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n However, fans aren\u2019t the only people who have weighed in on Kyle and Mauricio\u2019s separation. On May 29, Kyle\u2019s former Real<\/em> Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em> costar Lisa Vanderpump<\/strong> seemed to imply she knew about the couple\u2019s relationship problems<\/a> for some time while appearing on an episode of the \u201cCall Her Daddy<\/a>\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n \u201cThere was somebody that recently had this kind of complicated scenario, yeah, in one of the shows,\u201d Lisa, 63, told\u00a0host Alex Cooper<\/strong> when she was asked if she knew if any of her former costars had cheated on their partners. \u201cI\u2019m not telling you. And I kind of knew. Yeah, I\u2019ve known.\u201d<\/p>\n It didn\u2019t take long before Kyle fired back at the Vanderpump Rules<\/em> star.<\/p>\n \u201c[She was] trying to imply that when I was, you know, showing myself being happy, that I actually wasn\u2019t \u2014 which is an absolute lie, and she knows that,\u201d Kyle said during an Amazon Live session on May 30. \u201cShe just does that to be really mean. And then she goes on to say, \u2018I\u2019m not saying who I\u2019m talking about. I would never do such a thing.\u2019 This is always what she does.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
