Clint Eastwood<\/a> is mourning the death of his longtime partner, Christina Sandera.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 94-year-old actor released a statement on the death of Sandera, 61, to <\/span>The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a> on Friday, saying, “Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much.” No details on the cause of death are available at this time.<\/span><\/p>\n

The pair reportedly met when Sandera was working as a hostess at Eastwood\u2019s Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, and started dating in 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eastwood has been married twice — to Margaret Johnson from 1953-84 and to Dina Ruiz from 1996-2014. He also had longterm relationships with actresses Sondra Locke and Frances Fisher.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Oscar-winning director is notoriously private about his family life, but he has eight known children.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ET spoke with Eastwood back in 2021 about continuing to act and direct into his 90s. His 40th film as a director,<\/span> Juror No. 2<\/span><\/em>, is currently in post-production.<\/span><\/p>\n

“If you’re lucky enough to make enough good [movies], you’re still doing it when you’re a 70,” he joked. “You have to like the characters, even if they’re bad guys. It has to be a challenge to bring to life — sometimes it works pretty good.”<\/span><\/p>\n
