{"id":112759,"date":"2024-07-19T22:01:23","date_gmt":"2024-07-19T22:01:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2024\/07\/19\/clint-eastwoods-longterm-partner-christina-sandera-dies-aged-61\/"},"modified":"2024-07-19T22:01:23","modified_gmt":"2024-07-19T22:01:23","slug":"clint-eastwoods-longterm-partner-christina-sandera-dies-aged-61","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2024\/07\/19\/clint-eastwoods-longterm-partner-christina-sandera-dies-aged-61\/","title":{"rendered":"Clint Eastwood&#8217;s longterm partner Christina Sandera dies aged 61"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"byline\">\n<time itemprop=\"datePublished\" content=\"2024-07-19\" datetime=\"1721426483\" pubdate=\"\">19 July 2024<\/time>\n<\/p>\n<p>Christina Sandera has died at the age of 61.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"image-caption landscape\">Clint Eastwood paid a short tribute to his partner Christina Sandera after she died at the age of 61<\/p>\n<p>The former hostess was best known for her long-term relationship with Hollywood legend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/clint-eastwood\/\" class=\"exposure-link \" data-linktrack=\"LinkTracker,articleExposure,clint-eastwood\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clint Eastwood<\/a>, 94, and had been together with him for almost a decade when she passed away on Thursday (18.07.24), but a cause of death has not been announced.<\/p>\n<p>Clint told The Hollywood Reporter: &#8220;Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for the &#8216;Gran Torino&#8217; star &#8211; who was initially married to Maggie Johnson from 1953 until 1984, then to Dina Ruiz from 1996 until 2014 but has eight known children by six women &#8211; confirmed to the outlet that no further comment will be given at this stage.<\/p>\n<p>Clint and Christina are thought to have met when she was working at the Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California and started dating in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe pair did not give much away about their private life, but Christina did accompany Clint to many high-profile events like the 2015 Academy Awards. <\/p>\n<p>\nSince finding fame as a Hollywood star, Clint has also carved out another career as a top director in the movie business and admitted in 2021 that he has no intention of slowing down even though he had by then entered his 90s.<\/p>\n<p>\nHe said: &#8220;Speaking to the Los Angeles Times newspaper about his reasons for continuing to work, he said: &#8220;I just like it.<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;I have nothing against other directors, but I might have a whole different take on things and I don&#8217;t want to be thinking, &#8216;Why did I give it to him?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;What the hell am I still working for in my 90s?<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;Are people going to start throwing tomatoes at you?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;I&#8217;ve gotten to the point where I wondered if that was enough, but not to the point where I decided it was.<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;If you roll out a few turkeys, they&#8217;ll tell you soon enough.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/celebrity\/clint-eastwoods-longterm-partner-christina-sandera-dies-aged-61-1403220.html?f=rss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>19 July 2024 Christina Sandera has died at the age of 61.
