\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n The Suits<\/strong><\/a><\/em> spinoff series is officially moving forward!<\/p>\n On Friday (July 19), NBCUniversal announced that Suits: L.A<\/strong><\/a>.<\/em> \u2013 the upcoming legal drama set in the same universe as the original drama series \u2013 has been picked up for a series order.<\/p>\n The upcoming series, from Aaron Korsch<\/strong>, the creator and writer of the original series, will star Stephen Amell<\/strong><\/a>, Josh McDermitt<\/strong><\/a>, Lex Scott Davis<\/strong><\/a>, and Bryan Greenberg<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>NBC also shared the first photo from the series, featuring Stephen <\/strong>as Ted Black wearing a suit and sitting at his desk.<\/p>\n According to Deadline<\/a><\/em>, Ted Black is described as \u201ca charismatic force of nature who puts his own needs above others. Fifteen years ago, the former New York prosecutor joined forces with his old buddy, Stuart Lane, to build an L.A. law firm that specializes in criminal and entertainment law.\u201d<\/p>\n In the new series, his firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can\u2019t help but mix their personal and professional lives.
