\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n KATSEYE<\/strong><\/a> is from all over the world, and they\u2019re ready to take over the world too \u2013 and we want Just Jared<\/strong> readers to get to know them even better.<\/p>\n The first global girl group formed under traditional K-pop methodologies consists of six members: DANIELA<\/strong> (USA), LARA<\/strong> (USA), MANON<\/strong> (Switzerland), MEGAN<\/strong> (Honolulu, HI), SOPHIA<\/strong> (Philippines) and YOONCHAE<\/strong> (South Korea). <\/p>\n Formed through the Netflix<\/strong><\/a> survival program The Debut: Dream Academy<\/em>, the group is finally making their first moves, beginning with the appropriately titled first single, \u201cDebut.\u201d<\/p>\n Their debut EP SIS (SOFT IS STRONG)<\/em> is set for release on August 16, with a title that reflects one of KATSEYE<\/strong>\u2019s core beliefs: Soft Is Strong, and also nods to the sisterhood they\u2019ve forged, despite coming from immensely different cultures.<\/p>\n KATSEYE<\/strong> will also be the subject of their very own Netflix docuseries Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE<\/em>, which tells the story of how the group was put together.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s a plot summary: \u201cWith unprecedented access, the series will be a compelling portrayal of the journey to global stardom, including insight into the unique training and development program from HYBE and Geffen Records.\u201d<\/p>\n KATSEYE<\/strong> will also be performing during the pre-show at KCON in LA on July 28!<\/p>\n Ahead of their EP, the girls of KATSEYE told us 10 Fun Facts<\/strong><\/a> about themselves. <\/p>\n
