During an eight-year time period, the couple wreaked havoc in their own lives and created chaos<\/a> for their friends as well.<\/p>\n According to showrunner Meaghan Oppenheimer<\/strong>, the plan for season 2 is to kick everything up a notch.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI think there will be some revenge plots in Season 2,\u201d the writer told TVLine<\/em> in October 2022, referring to Lucy knowing Stephen\u2019s secret<\/a> about the car accident. \u201cI don\u2019t think that [Lucy] can tell people about [Stephen] being in the car because he made it so clear to her that if she were to tell that, she also have to admit all these other things, and I don\u2019t think she\u2019s at a place where she\u2019s willing to risk that social annihilation and admit how badly she behaved, especially now that she\u2019s seen that it wasn\u2019t even worth it.\u201d<\/p>\n
