5, 4, 3, 2, 1 \u2026 Happy New Year\u2019s Rockin\u2019 Eve<\/em>! Ring in 2023 with the iconic holiday special<\/a>, which will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest<\/strong><\/a> and other celebrities all across the country \u2014 and will include a special Disney twist<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Live With Kelly and Ryan personality, who has helmed the broadcast every year since 2006 \u2014 including seven years with its late founder and perennial host, Dick Clark<\/a>, before his death in 2012 \u2014 will once again be back to count down to midnight<\/a> in New York City\u2019s Times Square. Seacrest will be joined in Manhattan by cohost Liza Koshy<\/strong>. Jessie James Decker<\/strong> <\/a>will draw the winning Powerball numbers.<\/p>\n

Over on the West Coast, Ciara<\/strong><\/a> will return to her New Year\u2019s Rockin\u2019 Eve<\/em> post, this time for pretaped portions at Disneyland for the Mouse\u2019s 100 Years of Wonder Celebration. According to a press release, the magical celebration will \u201ccommemorate the global impact of Disney\u2019s storytelling, experiences, and fans and set the stage for the next 100 years of Disney magic.\u201d DJ D-Nice<\/strong> will cohost the L.A. countdown.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Billy Porter is set to host the special from its New Orleans\u2019 base, as he first did in 2019.<\/p>\n

In addition to the celebrity hosts, fans can expect epic performances from top artists who have yet to be announced. Past A-list performers include Machine Gun Kelly<\/strong><\/a>, Jennifer Lopez<\/strong><\/a>, BTS, Miley Cyrus<\/strong><\/a>, Jonas Brothers, Kelsea Ballerini<\/strong><\/a>, The Chainsmokers, Halsey<\/strong> <\/a>and many more.<\/p>\n

Seacrest previously spoke candidly about inheriting the show from Clark, who founded the special in 1972 and hosted it for nearly five decades. \u201cYou know, there\u2019s the history I have as a fan of the show and watching Dick,\u201d the American Idol<\/em><\/a> host shared in December 2012, before his first solo stint on New Year\u2019s Rockin\u2019 Eve<\/em> 2013, via Newsweek<\/a>. \u201cThen there\u2019s the amazing fortune I had to be his partner and learn from him \u2014 on-the-job training, which is something I never could have imagined.\u201d<\/p>\n

After Clark\u2019s death<\/a> in April 2012, Seacrest issued a statement calling the television pioneer \u201cone of the greatest influences in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI idolized him from the start, and I was graced early on in my career with his generous advice and counsel. When I joined his show in 2006, it was a dream come true to work with him every New Year\u2019s Eve for the last six years,\u201d the On Air With Ryan Seacrest<\/em> host said at the time.<\/p>\n

Ciara will not only lead the Disneyland celebrations, she’ll also perform a medley of her hits “Better Thangs” and “Jump.” Halle Bailey<\/strong>, Aly & AJ, Ben Platt<\/strong>, Fitz & The Tantrums, Shaggy<\/strong>, Maddie & Tae, Tomorrow x Together, Bailey Zimmerman and Lauren Spencer Smith<\/strong> will all take the stage as well.<\/p>\n

The L.A. festivities will also feature a number of big names, including Wiz Khalifa, Finneas, Armani White, Betty Who, Dove Cameron and Nicky Youre.<\/p>\n

New York and New Orleans performers have yet to be announced.<\/p>\n

In Times Square, K-pop juggernaut J-Hope<\/strong> will hit the stage, as will Duran Duran and New Edition. TikTok star Jax<\/strong> is also set to perform a few hits, including the viral “Victoria’s Secret.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
