Kate Hudson<\/strong><\/a> is getting candid about her break from dating.<\/p>\n

The Glass Onion<\/em> actress shared on the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast in May that she took a \u201cfull year off\u201d from dating men<\/a> in her 30s, but that didn\u2019t stop them from sliding into her DMs.<\/p>\n

Hudson, 45, revealed on the Wednesday, July 17, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em><\/a> that a \u201cton\u201d of famous men hit on her during her yearlong break.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, yeah,\u201d said the actress, responding to a viewer who asked whether any celebrities tried to \u201cshoot their shot\u201d at the time.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKate Hudson hasn\u2019t had the easiest journey when it comes to love \u2014 but she found something special with Danny Fujikawa. The couple began dating in 2016 and announced that they were expecting their first child together two years later. Hudson surprised fans with her pregnancy news, posting footage of a sex reveal party on [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cDid people at that time reach out to you in your DMs?\u201d host Andy Cohen<\/strong><\/a> pressed Hudson further.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh yeah,\u201d Hudson said casually. \u201cLook, it\u2019s a great way to meet people, and a great thing to make your ego feel wonderful. Like, \u2018Oh, that one snuck in.\u2019 But I had a ton [of DMs] \u2026 I like to flirt, which is why I had to go through a year without flirting. Yeah, now it\u2019s done.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hudson, who is engaged to musician Danny Fujikawa<\/strong>, first opened up about her year off from men in May. \u201cIt was great,\u201d Hudson said on the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast. \u201cI was at that place where I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t want to keep repeating any patterns anymore.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a great therapist who was like, \u2018I can help you, but you have to do it,\u2019\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Hudson said she ended up being single for three years and her break from dating helped prepare her for her relationship with Fujikawa, with whom she shares daughter Rani, 5. The couple began dating in December 2016 and got engaged in September 2021.<\/p>\n
