Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> revealed the gruesome details behind the injury that left her with her hand wrapped in bandages earlier this year. On the Thursday, July 18, episode of The Kardashians<\/em>, Kim visited a plastic surgeon to get her fingers looked at.<\/p>\n \u201cMy big sliding door in my bathroom that opens up and you see the whole window in my bathroom \u2026 I was shutting it and there\u2019s no latch,\u201d Kim, 43, explained. \u201cYou have to pull the inside of the mechanics out. So I pulled them out and I usually stop it with my hand. And so I pulled it really hard and then [my son] Saint ran in with chips and I\u2019m like, \u2018It\u2019s 8:30 at night, no chips!\u2019 And it went, \u2018Boom!\u2019 and I was like \u2026 I literally looked at my hand and fell to the ground.\u201d<\/p>\n The Skims founder went on to detail the excruciating pain that she felt after the accident. \u201cI just, like, grabbed the table and got on my knees because I just saw all this blood,\u201d she shared. \u201cIt was my bone sticking out a little bit. And I was just like, \u2018Get me help.\u2019 I was just like, \u2018I need ice.\u2019 I didn\u2019t scream. I didn\u2019t anything. I just couldn\u2019t do anything but freeze. You can\u2019t even describe the pain, but your whole body goes in shock. It was, like, more painful than childbirth.\u201d<\/p>\n She added that \u201cthe whole tip\u201d of her middle finger broke off, leaving it \u201clike a floating piece.\u201d To make matters worse, \u201c[The doctor] was like, \u2018It\u2019s a possibility your nail will never grow back,\u2019\u201d Kim revealed. \u201cI was like, \u2018Come on.\u2019 I\u2019m gonna invent a nail implant.\u201d<\/p>\n To help with the pain, Kim used hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which she said she \u201cthought\u201d was helping. \u201cI did four hours yesterday,\u201d she admitted. \u201cBut who has the time<\/a>?!\u201d<\/p>\n When her doctor removed the bandages he assured her that her fingers looked \u201cgreat,\u201d but Kim was still mortified by the sight. \u201cYou think that looks great!?\u201d she asked. He promised her, \u201cYes, because a lot of that is just a little bit of dried blood and some oozing.\u201d The reality star also double checked that she wouldn\u2019t need to have her finger amputated<\/a> and he told her, \u201cYou will not. 100 percent. I think you dodged a bullet. It could\u2019ve been really bad.\u201d<\/p>\n A few days later, Kim gave another update. \u201cThe pain is still, like \u2026 it\u2019s horrible,\u201d she admitted. \u201cThere\u2019s no other way to describe it. But it\u2019s all good. I have s\u2013t to do so this isn\u2019t gonna slow me down.\u201d She then went on to visit men and women in prison as part of her prison reform work.<\/p>\n When Kim attended Paris Fashion Week in March, she had bandages covering two of her fingers, prompting fans to wonder what happened. When the injuries resurfaced in a preview for The Kardashians, an internet rumor surfaced that she hurt her hand in an accident involving her Tesla Cybertruck.
