The promotion runs until July 31st, so you\u2019ve got a few weeks to take advantage of the deal. However, the controllers are only available to those with a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership \u2014 and the free trial doesn\u2019t count. You\u2019ll need to log in with your Switch credentials to buy them through Nintendo\u2019s online store<\/a>, and Nintendo is limiting sales to four sets<\/a> of two NES controllers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

First released back in 2018<\/a>, the controllers replicate the design of the original Nintendo Entertainment System\u2019s bundled gamepads but add the convenience of wireless connectivity and a rechargeable battery. Like the Joy-Con controllers, they can only be charged by attaching them directly to the Switch, making the portable console<\/a> a requisite accessory.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
