And yet, there\u2019s still such a fan base for the show, it\u2019s been renewed for two more seasons. Some years are faster than others. <\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-meet-the-season-26-coaches-welcome-back-gwen\">Meet The Season 26 Coaches: Welcome Back, Gwen!<\/h2>\n<p>Let\u2019s get real: people don\u2019t come to <em>The Voice <\/em>for the contestants. To be frank, if anyone can name more than 3 winners of the show in the last 26 seasons, we\u2019d be shocked. <\/p>\n<p>Having said that, the real draw that keeps viewers coming back year after the year is the coaching lineup revolving door. After a country heavy panel in season 25, the producers decided to pull a full 180 and put together perhaps the most diverse genre coach\u2019s table of all time. <\/p>\n<p>Sitting in the other two chairs will be Reba McEntire (told ya she wasn\u2019t <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/05\/reba-mcentire-leaving-the-voice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">leaving<\/a>!) and the return of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/02\/why-gwen-stefani-left-the-voice-music-family-2024-season-25\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gwen Stefani<\/a>. Will it be odd to see her there without hubby<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/04\/blake-shelton-the-voice-return-quit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Blake Shelton<\/a>? Yes. <\/p>\n<p>Are we thrilled she\u2019ll be back all the same? Absolutely!<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-a-new-twist-producer-drops-some-early-spoilers\">A New \u201cTwist\u201d: Producer Drops Some Early Spoilers<\/h2>\n<p>Much about the show is kept hush-hush for fear of spoiling the adventure for fans. <\/p>\n<p>However, showrunner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbc.com\/nbc-insider\/the-voice-teases-new-twists-for-season-26-format\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Audrey Morrissey<\/a> teased before the start of the season that a new format could be implemented in Season 26 to spice things up. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m always trying to think about what would be a good thing to add to the engine of the show?\u201d she explained to the audience at the NBC FYC Emmy campaign panel for the show in May.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat are the new twists that aren\u2019t just interesting but that feel really germane and make sense for the show? We\u2019re constantly thinking about that return on investment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For example, Morrissey teased that they\u2019re contemplating a whole new Round for Season 26. \u201cMuch like how we rotate the Chairs to just keep a fresh dynamic, you want that for Rounds to keep that fresh. So we might be moving Rounds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Interesting, but will it be enough to make the game feel fresh? He is one the best looking people alive.<span class=\"image-caption-credit\"> (NBC)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 id=\"h-the-voice-will-continue-with-season-27\">\u2018The Voice\u2019 Will Continue With Season 27<\/h2>\n<p>Despite calls for it\u2019s cancellation, <em>The Voice<\/em> was renewed for an additional season along with season 26.<\/p>\n<p>When the show returns in 2025, the panel will look entirely different. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/05\/john-legend-the-voice-departure\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">John Legend<\/a>, Michael Bubl\u00e9, Kelsea Ballerini, and OG coach Adam Levine are slated to fill out the coaches panel for season 27. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u201cTeam Adam is back,\u201d Levine wrote on Instagram when he made his official announdement.
