Halle Berry<\/a> has cut ties with <\/span>Ryan Murphy’s<\/a> forthcoming Hulu legal drama, All’s Fair.<\/span><\/p>\n The Oscar-winner is no longer attached to star in the project, on which she was also set to serve as an executive producer, <\/span>Variety<\/em><\/a> reports.<\/span><\/p>\n Berry’s exit comes just over a week after news broke that she would be starring in the series alongside film icon Glenn Close and <\/span>American Horror Story: Delicate<\/span><\/em> star Kim Kardashian.<\/span><\/p>\n According to the outlet, Berry’s decision to back out from involvement in the new series — which marks Murphy’s first series in his deal with Disney — stems from a scheduling conflict.<\/span><\/p>\n All’s Fair has been described as a sexy legal drama that follows Kardashian as a top Los Angeles divorce lawyer and an all-female law firm.<\/span><\/p>\n Details regarding the nature of what Berry’s role would have been has not yet been released.<\/span><\/p>\n Berry currently is gearing up for the release of two films this year, including the action caper The Union, opposite Mark Wahlberg — which premieres Aug. 16 on Netflix — and the tense horror thriller Never Let Go, which hits theaters Sept. 27.<\/span><\/p>\n Berry spoke with ET back in April,<\/a> and reflected on how being a mom influenced her performance in Never Let Go, which tells the story of a malevolent spirit menacing a mother and her young children.<\/span><\/p>\n “You know, we say as mama bears … we say, ‘I will take a bullet for my kids. I will do anything for my kids.’\u00a0This gave me an opportunity to really play that scenario out, right, to really take a bullet for my kids. Like, really put my life out there for them in a real way,” Berry said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The actress\u00a0is the\u00a0<\/span>mother of daughter Nahla, 16<\/a>, whom she shares with ex Gabriel Aubry and son, Maceo, 10, who she\u00a0<\/span>shares with ex Olivier Martinez<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
