Welcome to Plathville<\/em><\/a>\u2019s season 6 premiere proved that a lot has changed for the Plath family, especially Ethan Plath<\/strong><\/a> and his estranged wife, Olivia Plath<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe haven\u2019t officially gotten a divorce yet, but I guess that\u2019s right around the corner,\u201d Ethan, 26, told the cameras during the Tuesday, July 16, episode, revealing that after he and Olivia, also 26, split in early 2023<\/a>, she moved to California.<\/p>\n

He confessed: \u201cI don\u2019t want it to happen, but I don\u2019t see how we can make it work either.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the episode, Olivia came back to Minnesota to get the last of her things before Ethan moved out of their shared apartment. Their initial reunion, however, didn\u2019t go smoothly as Ethan was still struggling with his anger toward Olivia.<\/p>\n

Ethan, however, wasn\u2019t the only one in his family going through a massive change during the premiere. \u201cOur family is still strong, but the future is as uncertain<\/a> as it\u2019s ever been,\u201d Moriah Plath<\/strong><\/a> teased in the intro.<\/p>\n

Micah Is in Love<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Micah Plath<\/strong> revealed during Tuesday\u2019s episode that he left California, where he was modeling, to move into his girlfriend\u2019s house in Florida. While he didn\u2019t reveal her identity<\/a>, viewers got a glimpse at her blonde hair and their shared dogs.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s just something special about this girl,\u201d Micah, 23, told the cameras.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the episode, Micah confessed that his lifestyle in Florida is \u201cvery different\u201d than it was in California. \u201cI\u2019m not single anymore, you know, everything I do is centered around my girlfriend, which is honestly great,\u201d he shared. \u201cIt\u2019s nice feeling cared for and thought about all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Micah\u2019s pal Will<\/strong>, however, voiced concern over the sudden change in him when he came for a visit.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve spoken to Micah\u2019s girlfriend on the phone four or five times, maybe over the course of the last year [or] year and a half. She seems really nice, really pretty,\u201d Will told the cameras. \u201cBut the first time I saw her was maybe not one of their best moments. They were having a little bit of a tiff where, you know, they were going at it a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Micah, for his part, confided in Will, saying that he does \u201clove\u201d his girlfriend, he is \u201cdefinitely learning a lot\u201d about her and what she doesn\u2019t like about him \u2014 like his grooming habits.<\/p>\n

Ethan Is Not Over Olivia<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After checking in with Micah, the cameras traveled to Victoria, Minnesota, where Ethan is getting ready to move out of his and Olivia\u2019s place. (The pair were married five years before calling it quits<\/a>\u00a0and butted heads throughout their relationship over Olivia\u2019s tension with Ethan\u2019s family.)<\/p>\n

When Olivia showed up to talk about their divorce, it became clear that Ethan wasn\u2019t ready. \u201cAre you still angry at me?\u201d Olivia asked, to which Ethan replied, \u201cVery much so.\u201d<\/p>\n

He eventually pointed to Olivia\u2019s issues with his family<\/a> as a source of his frustration. \u201cWhy did you tell me that me not having a relationship with my siblings for a year and a half was not a sacrifice or compromise?\u201d Ethan said.<\/p>\n

Olivia responded, \u201cIt\u2019s not like I was unable to see that that was a sacrifice on your part, but I felt like that was held over my head when that to me was like the bare minimum for protecting your partner.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWelcome to Plathville stars Ethan Plath and Olivia Plath faced their fair share of challenges before calling it quits. The reality stars wed in October 2018 after being engaged for nearly a year. Despite the occasion, the newlyweds faced tension with Ethan\u2019s ultra-conservative parents, Kim and Barry Plath, at the start of their relationship. \u201cWhen [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She confessed, \u201cIt took me far too long to realize that between me or your family. Like, you were going to pick your family.\u201d Ethan grew frustrated, adding, \u201cThat\u2019s because you made me choose.\u201d Olivia acknowledged that maybe she \u201cshould have walked away sooner,\u201d but Ethan revealed that \u201cwouldn\u2019t have saved me any heartache<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the estranged couple\u2019s second meeting, Ethan explained that he was holding out for a possible reconciliation that was not going to come. \u201cI\u2019m sorry for being angry at you yesterday,\u201d he told Olivia. \u201cWell, I still love you very, very much. I don\u2019t know what to do with all my emotions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Olivia tried to pivot the conversation to the legal logistics of their divorce, but Ethan stated, \u201cI can\u2019t accept this.\u201d He asked, \u201cCan\u2019t we just make it work?\u201d before the episode came to a close.<\/p>\n

Kim\u2019s on a Boat!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed in June that Kim Plath<\/strong> filed for divorce<\/a> from husband Barry Plath<\/strong> following their December 2021 separation. When the TLC series resumed, the pair were not officially divorced, but they were coparenting from different states.<\/p>\n

Kim, 51, revealed in the premiere that she bought a houseboat in Florida and was living on it with her and Barry\u2019s three youngest daughters, Amber<\/strong>, 15, Cassia<\/strong>, 13, and Mercy<\/strong>, 11. The pair share nine children<\/a>, including Hosanna<\/strong>, 24, Lydia<\/strong>, 20, and Isaac<\/strong>, 18, who were not on the season 6 premiere.<\/p>\n

\u201cEver since Barry and I separated, I\u2019ve been trying to figure out where I\u2019m going to go and what I\u2019m going to do, and it\u2019s hard not knowing a lot of things,\u201d she said. \u201cBut I do know I don\u2019t miss that big house. I would rather be on a small boat with my girls than a big house with \u2026 fill in the blank.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barry\u2019s New Running Partner<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Barry, 56, told the cameras that he took up running amid his split from Kim<\/a> to \u201cclear my mind.\u201d He teased that he has a female \u201crunning partner,\u201d who turned out to be his daughter Moriah, 21. Barry is still living in Georgia but doesn\u2019t sleep in his and Kim\u2019s bedroom.<\/p>\n

Moriah Moved Home<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After moving out of her parents\u2019 house in Cairo, Georgia, when she was 17, Moriah has returned. She recently relocated from Tampa, Florida, after a breakup.<\/p>\n
