Nicole Kidman<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s kids are her biggest fans \u2014 even if they haven\u2019t seen all of her work.<\/p>\n

The Oscar winner, 57, reflected on her role as Alice Harford in 1999\u2019s Eyes Wide Shut<\/em> in an interview with The Los Angeles Times<\/em><\/a> published on Tuesday, July 16. When asked whether the risqu\u00e9 film is one she plans on watching with her children one day, Kidman quipped, \u201cDefinitely not.\u201d<\/p>\n

While her and husband Keith Urban<\/strong>\u2019s two daughters \u2014 Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13 \u2014 haven\u2019t seen the R-rated movie, Kidman\u2019s kids got a glimpse at one of her most memorable scenes from the Stanley Kubrick\u2013directed film while attending the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala<\/a> with their parents in April. Kidman was honored with this year\u2019s Lifetime Achievement Award at the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the AFI tribute, they saw the scene where I get stoned,\u201d Kidman told the newspaper. \u201cThey showed that and I was like, \u2018Ooooh. Golly. OK.\u2019\u201d I sat next to my daughter Sunday watching that.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the film, Kidman\u2019s character, Alice, fantasizes about being intimate with a naval officer she once met while smoking marijuana with her husband, Bill, played by Kidman\u2019s then-husband, Tom Cruise<\/strong>. (The actors were married from 1990 to 2001 and share daughter Bella, 31, and son Connor, 29<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\u201c[Sunday] said, \u2018Mom, that was good,\u2019\u201d Kidman continued, noting that her daughter also had a positive reaction to a scene from her 2004 film Birth that was featured in the tribute. \u201cShe said, \u2018That was really good.\u2019 And I watched that scene and thought, \u2018Wow. That was really good.\u2019 And I never do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Actors watching their own movies is something Kidman told the outlet \u201cfeels slightly odd to me,\u201d adding, \u201cI\u2019m OK celebrating directors because it\u2019s their work. But my own little part of it, it\u2019s like [groans]. But if you\u2019re a director, it\u2019s lovely to hear that you\u2019re proud of it. So I\u2019m very, very proud of it. I say that to you, Stanley up there, if you\u2019re listening to me. He knows that anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n
