Jessica Capshaw<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about a miscarriage she suffered over a decade ago.<\/p>\n The 47-year-old actress, best known for playing Arizona Robbins on Grey\u2019s Anatomy<\/em>, shared her experience while opening up about her kids on an episode of her Call It What It Is<\/em> podcast with co-star Camilla Luddington<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Jessica<\/strong> responded to a listener who asked if having a third child was a good decision. She and her husband Christopher Gavigan<\/strong> share four kids \u2013 Luke<\/strong>, 16, Eve<\/strong>, 13, Poppy<\/strong>, 12, and Josephine<\/strong>, 8.<\/p>\n During the podcast, Jessica <\/strong>revealed when the miscarriage happened and how it affected her family.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cFor me, I came from a big family, so I think that it was very natural and I didn\u2019t feel overwhelmed,\u201d Jessica <\/strong>said about having multiple kids. <\/p>\n She continued, \u201cAnd Luke <\/strong>is three years older than Eve<\/strong>, and then Poppy<\/strong> is only 20 months younger than Eve. So we went like boom boom. It was Luke<\/strong>, and a break then Eve<\/strong>, and then I got pregnant when Eve<\/strong> was 10 months old.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cI got pregnant and I was so excited and I had never had any issues before getting pregnant. I was very lucky and I\u2019m very grateful. And then all of a sudden, at my 10-week appointment, [I] went in for the ultrasound, was by myself, totally unsuspecting, and there was no heartbeat,\u201d she said, adding that it was \u201cthe most shocking and deeply, deeply sad thing.\u201d <\/p>\n Jessica <\/strong>talked about how she had to figure out how to tell her husband about the miscarriage.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd then you know, life carried on, and I had a chance to take care of myself and my body and my relationship and my other children, and it was really incredible,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Jessica<\/strong> recently explained why she didn\u2019t like her co-host Camilla <\/strong>when<\/a> they first met. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
