Camila Cabello<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Shawn Mendes<\/a>\u00a0appear to have reconnected as the former flames were spotted sitting together at the Copa Am\u00e9rica soccer final between Argentina and Colombia on Sunday, July 14.<\/span><\/p>\n The exes were seen chatting inside Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, in a video captured by a fan and shared on <\/span>X (formerly Twitter)<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Cabello wore her blonde hair down in relaxed waves as she positioned her sunglasses atop her head in the video. In another clip of the 27-year-old singer on the jumbotron, she could be seen wearing a black tank top as she danced and sang along playfully for the camera.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On their respective Instagram Stories, Cabello and Mendes each shared snaps from the event.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The “Havana” singer previously dated Mendes, 25, for two years before\u00a0<\/span>they split in 2021<\/a>. However, in April 2023, the two sparked reconciliation rumors when\u00a0<\/span>they were spotted kissing at Coachella<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n During a March 2024 interview on the\u00a0<\/span>Call Her Daddy\u00a0<\/em>podcast<\/a>, Cabello shared her thoughts on whether she thinks it’s a good idea to get back with an ex, saying, “I, personally, I think it’s known, I’m a fan. I support it. I’ve supported it in the past.”<\/span><\/p>\n “I personally think it’s helpful,” she added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Of giving their love another shot, Cabello told host Alex Cooper, “I’m kind of impulsive in that way, I would say, like I feel like if I feel it, I say it and I’m not really good at not doing that, like I said. Then, the worst place for it to live is my mind, and then I’m like Ryan Gosling\u00a0in\u00a0<\/span>The Notebook<\/span><\/em>\u00a0building a house for this person. So I would rather say it and see what happens, and then wake up the next day and find out that it’s been heavily documented. I opted for that route.”<\/span><\/p>\n “But it is what it is. It was a great route, it was a fun time. It was a fun moment and I will always care about him and love him. He’s such a good person,” Cabello noted. “And I’m lucky ’cause some people have exes that are awful, and he’s not. He’s a really kind, good person.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
