Below Deck Mediterranean<\/em><\/a>\u2018s Joe Bradley<\/strong> is willing to take accountability for the issues that came from his love triangle with Ellie Dubaich<\/strong> and Bri Muller<\/strong> \u2014 but he isn\u2019t shouldering all the blame.<\/p>\n

\u201cI could have played it a bit differently. But, obviously, my intention wasn\u2019t to be disrespectful in any way, shape or form,\u201d Joe exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> about his individual connections with Ellie and Bri. \u201cAnd I don\u2019t believe that I was disrespectful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joe pointed out that his priority was always his job<\/a>, adding, \u201cI communicate on a very serious and very professional level because I don\u2019t want to disrupt [on] my end my work. If this is going to ruin my end of the job \u2014 I\u2019ve got to protect my position on both. I\u2019m not going to let no woman, no man disrupt my work ethics.\u201d<\/p>\n

Season 9 started out with Joe and Ellie expressing interest in each other. The lead deckhand also found himself flirting \u2014 and later making out<\/a> \u2014 with Bri, which created issues with the interior team. Despite Ellie pointing the blame at Joe since filming wrapped, he has a different take on the situation.<\/a><\/p>\n

And where I\u2019m from [in] Liverpool, the flirting game is up here. Maybe [Ellie] is not used to an intense environment, but I disagree.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joe\u2019s fellow deckhand Nathan Gallagher<\/strong> sided with him during their joint interview<\/a>, telling Us<\/em>, \u201cI\u2019ll disagree as well. The reason I won\u2019t say that Joe is at fault is because Bri and Ellie had a conversation in the laundry room where they had the opportunity to tell each other that they were both into Joe and that could have potentially ruled something out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nathan questioned why Bri and Ellie weren\u2019t more honest about who they liked<\/a> on the boat.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBelow Deck has followed various relationships and flings throughout the franchise \u2014 but some stars found love with one another outside their seasons. Malia White\u2018s introduction to Below Deck Mediterranean in season 2 came with a love triangle between Adam Glick and Wesley Walton. Although Malia and Wes gave their romance another try offscreen \u2014 [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cMe and Joe, we had a conversation. He told me he was interested in Ellie when we first met each other. I told him I was interested in Gael [Cameron]<\/strong> and that was set in stone,\u201d he noted. \u201cSo we made our intentions clear to each other and there was no love triangle with our situation. But if the girls would\u2019ve had that conversation, that could have went differently, possibly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last month, Ellie opened up to Us<\/em> about why she felt Joe was to blame for the drama.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cYes 100 percent [he is at fault],\u201d Ellie claimed. \u201cAfter a while, I realized that it might\u2019ve been Joe who was playing both parties. Because even watching just episode 2 where he was kind of going back and forth, I didn\u2019t really realize the extent to which he was leading her on.\u201d<\/p>\n

The second stew added: \u201cBecause all the stories that came back to me was more like, \u2018Oh, Bri is interested in Joe. He\u2019s not really interested in her. He wants you.\u2019 It was more like, \u2018Oh, she was throwing herself at him.\u2019 But then I realized actually it might\u2019ve been him who was instigating it as well.\u201d<\/p>\n
