The \u2018Water Melon\u2019 singer, 30, joined the Fleetwood Mac veteran, 76, on stage during the city\u2019s traditional summer festival on Friday (12.07.24) as she paid an emotional tribute to her late bandmate Christine McVie<\/a> on what would have been her 81st birthday \u2013 as well as her late friend Tom Petty.<\/p>\n

Harry performed with Stevie as she sang her classic \u2018Stop Draggin\u2019 My Heart Around\u2019 and Fleetwood Mac\u2019s \u2018Landslide\u2019 before she paid tribute to her Christine, who passed away in December 2022 after suffering a stroke as she battled cancer.<\/p>\n

As former One Direction member Harry looked on, an emotional Stevie told the crowd: \u201cI want you to know that Christine was my girl and she loved all of us and today was her birthday. <\/p>\n

\u201cAll of you have helped me get over (her death) and I want you to know how much I appreciate it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nShe added: \u201cHarry, I thank you, we thank you!\u201d<\/p>\n

\nStevie also paid an emotional tribute to Tom Petty, after she shared the Hude Park stage with the Heartbreakers singer in 2017, months before his death aged 66 after he suffered a heart attack.<\/p>\n

\nImages of Tom and Stevie were projected on the stage as Stevie and her band sang his song \u2018Free Fallin\u2019\u2019, with the singer telling fans: \u201cThis is a special day for a lot of reasons, to be back here because I feel his presence. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cI know he\u2019s at this event and he\u2019s happy with me here.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nStevie recently dismissed any possibility of Fleetwood Mac reuniting without Christine, saying: \u201cWhen Christine died, I felt like you can\u2019t replace her. You just can\u2019t. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cWithout her, what is it, you know what I mean?\u201d<\/p>\n

\nStevie took to the stage on Friday after delaying part of her UK tour due to a leg injury.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
