Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> decided to give therapy a shot to help get the tools she needed to be a stricter parent to her four children. After previously admitting that she\u2019s \u201cnever seen a therapist,\u201d Kim opened up about her one-time visit on the Thursday, July 11, episode of The Kardashians<\/em>.<\/p>\n The Skims founder, 43, told sister Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian<\/strong> that she finally had a \u201cpeaceful household\u201d and credited it with her decision to see a therapist. \u201cI just saw her once,\u201d she clarified. \u201cThe simplest thing that she told me was to take down screen time. Of course, you\u2019re like, \u2018Duh, of course,\u2019 but having strict rules on, like, \u2018There can be no phones during meals.\u2019 They\u2019re going to fight and kick and scream for, like, a week and then you gotta get through it. I never wanted to deal for that week.\u201d<\/p>\n Kim pointed out that she\u2019s able to be \u201creally firm\u201d as the owner of multiple businesses and had to make sure she was doing the same thing in her \u201cmost important job\u201d as a mom<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI was just being really lenient [before] because it was easier for me,\u201d she admitted. \u201cAnd I\u2019m just like \u2026 I can\u2019t. I put my all into everything else and this needs to be my all times a million. So I just need to go through the hard times of whining and crying. I\u2019ve just changed a lot of little things around my house. I\u2019m basically turning into Kourtney [Kardashian]<\/strong> and Khlo\u00e9.\u201d<\/p>\n Kim and Khlo\u00e9\u2019s different parenting styles have been a point of contention<\/a> between them on this season of The Kardashians<\/em>. The SKKN creator has been critical of her younger sister\u2019s desire to stick to such a strict schedule with her kids. She\u2019s also slammed Khlo\u00e9, 40, on a number of occasions for not wanting to ever leave the house and be away from her kids.<\/p>\n Despite \u201cimplementing stricter scheduling\u201d in her own home, Kim admitted that she still thinks Khlo\u00e9 is \u201ctoo militant\u201d with her parenting. However, she concluded, \u201cMaybe Khlo\u00e9 was a little right.\u201d<\/p>\n During the June 6 episode of The Kardashians<\/em>, Kim opened up about why she never had to see a therapist in the past. While celebrating her 43rd birthday with her longtime friends who she calls her \u201clifers,\u201d<\/a> Kim explained, \u201cHonestly, I wouldn\u2019t be here if it wasn\u2019t for my friends. Like, I have the best friends and they\u2019re super supportive. I think that\u2019s probably why I\u2019ve never seen a therapist, is because I have the best friends in the entire world, and they mean everything to me.\u201d<\/p>\n Kim\u2019s closest inner circle consists of Allison Statter, Simone Harouche, Lindsay May, Sarah Meyer Michaelson, Zoe Winkler Reinis <\/strong>and Ashley Kassan<\/strong>. They\u2019ve been friends since they were kids.<\/p>\n \u201cMy friend circle, I always say I hit the jackpot in the friends department,\u201d the reality star admitted. \u201cSpending my 43rd birthday with all the girls that inspire me and motivate me is just really special.\u201d Hulu cameras also captured Kim having dinner with the \u201clifers\u201d in another scene, where she told them about her plans to continue acting after working on American Horror Story<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
