Kris Jenner\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> surgery plans changed just one day before she was set to go under the knife. On the Thursday, July 11, episode of The Kardashians<\/em>, she revealed that she was having a full hysterectomy, in addition to the originally-planned removal of her ovaries.<\/p>\n \u201cTomorrow morning at 6 in the morning I\u2019m going to have a hysterectomy,\u201d Kris, 68, told friends Kathy Hilton <\/strong>and Faye Resnick<\/strong>. \u201cIt started out as just getting some ovaries removed, and then today I get a phone call. Dr. A goes, \u2018Listen, I really think the best thing for you is to remove the whole thing. Do the complete hysterectomy and not give anything a chance to grow anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n Kris was originally advised to have her ovaries removed<\/a> after doctors discovered a \u201ccyst and little tumor\u201d on her ovary. She was admittedly emotional about the procedure, as she would be losing body parts that helped create her six children.<\/p>\n \u201cNo one talks about getting older,\u201d Kris pointed out to Kathy, 65, and Faye, 67. \u201cNo one talks about menopause. No one told me about menopause. It\u2019s interesting that in today\u2019s day and age, this generation thinks that you guys are gonna live forever. And you\u2019re not. Here\u2019s the thing \u2013 I did it, they found something, we\u2019re here to fix it. I\u2019m going to remove something that gave me six of the best parts of my whole life.\u201d<\/p>\n
