Sparks, these fans observed, seemed to fly between Hoda and Costner during their interview in June. And, well, a lot of fans think that the two could really connect on a less professional level.<\/p>\n
News of fans feeling this way came as a clear shock to Hoda.<\/p>\n
\u201cWait what?,\u201d she asked alongside some nervous laughter. \u201cI have never ever heard that, not one time.\u201d<\/p>\n
Andy Cohen was sure to explain for the chronologically challenged that shipping <\/em>means that viewers want Hoda and Costner together. The term ship<\/em> in this context stems from relationship<\/em>. As you can see in the video below, the video is suggestive \u2014 set to slow, romantic music, making it seem that Hoda and Costner were flirting.<\/p>\n
\u201cY\u2019all are ridiculous,\u201d Hoda declared accurately with a laugh. \u201cThe slow-mo\u2019 and the music, really?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n
