Former spouses Christina Hall<\/strong><\/a> and Tarek El Moussa<\/strong> <\/a>have come a long way over time.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like [Tarek and my husband Josh\u2019s relationship] gotten definitely better throughout the years,\u201d Hall, 40, exclusively told Us Weekly <\/i>on Tuesday, July 2, while discussing the new season of Christina on the Coast. <\/i>\u201cAll of us are at a really good spot right now when it comes to coparenting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hall and El Moussa, 42, were married between<\/a> 2009 and 2018, during which they welcomed daughter Taylor, now 13, and son Brayden, now 8. After the Flip or Flop <\/i>stars divorced, Tarek found love with Selling Sunset <\/i>star Heather Rae El Moussa<\/strong>; they wed in October 2021 before welcoming son Tristan, 17 months. Hall, meanwhile, was married to Ant Antstead<\/strong>, with whom she shares 3-year-old son Hudson, before their 2021 split. She then wed Joshua Hall<\/strong> in April 2023.<\/p>\n

Christina and Tarek, who ended Flip or Flip <\/i>later that year, are preparing to team up again for another HGTV project. Alongside Josh, 43, and Heather, 36, the former couple will compete against one another<\/a> in The Flip-Off <\/i>to design fixer-upper properties.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTalk about a roller-coaster! Christina Hall (n\u00e9e Haack) and Tarek El Moussa\u2018s ups and downs started well before they called it quits in 2016. The reality stars tied the knot in May 2009, four years before their HGTV series catapulted them into the spotlight. Things took a turn when El Moussa was diagnosed with two [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe good thing about this show in particular is that it\u2019s gonna be fun. It\u2019s a competition,\u201d Christina said on Tuesday. \u201cThere\u2019s not gonna be any bad blood no matter what happens. None of us are taking it as seriously to actually get mad about stuff. We just decided to have fun with it no matter what. Because when you\u2019re having fun filming that\u2019s the most important thing, because that\u2019s what the audience is gonna notice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Christina further noted that she and Josh only \u201cjust started\u201d filming The Flip-Off, <\/i>which the foursome pitched to HGTV themselves.<\/p>\n

\u201cJosh and I started flipping houses in Tennessee. I really missed flipping houses,\u201d Christina said. \u201cIt was all of us talking together about what that looks like to do a house-flipping show together; [we] landed on the competition aspect because competition shows do really well for the network, in general. We brought that show to the network and they were super excited. It comes from a time of getting back into flipping and then the coparenting relationship going really well. We\u2019re at a place where we could all do this together and still like each other after.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Christina, coparenting is going well<\/a> because she and Tarek are all about \u201cputting the kids first.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe rest of the stuff is trivial, but ultimately we all just love the children and want them to be happy, thriving individuals,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s really all that matters.\u201d<\/p>\n

Christina and Josh are balancing family life and their relationships with new projects on Christina on the Coast<\/i>, their HGTV design show based in Orange County, California. Christina and her husband also split time in rural Tennessee, which is where they film HGTV spinoff Christina in the Country.<\/i><\/p>\n
