Because, technically, they didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>Officially, in legal terms, Brandi and Jarrod never married. But they were in a long-term relationship, shared a business, had children together, and were life partners \u2014 until they weren\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>In some relationships, avoiding marriage can simplify a split. Both before <em>and <\/em>after the 2018 split. <\/p>\n<p>Their son, Cameron, and their daughter, Payton, are both teens. Even if it took fans a couple of years to learn of it.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Brandi\u2019s characterization of herself as being the primary caregiver for both of their children to such an extent that being a single mom wasn\u2019t so different may have been a major contributing factor.<\/p>\n<p>Even more seriously, a May 2021 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2021\/05\/16\/storage-wars-star-jarrod-schulz-charged-domestic-violence-brandi-passante\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>TMZ <\/em>report<\/a> detailed Jarrod\u2019s charge of misdemeanor domestic violence battery against Brandi. According to the report, he left the scene and was not arrested. His last post to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CdMvjbGhI8q\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram<\/a>, for example, was in May of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, he shared a photo with someone named Rochel Beckman. He did not formally confirm that the two were dating. <a href=\"https:\/\/tvshowsace.com\/2020\/03\/13\/storage-wars-jarrod-schulz-who-is-his-new-girlfriend-rochel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>TV Shows Ace<\/em> reported<\/a> that Rochel had posted about him on social media, gushing about him in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s crazy how much happier life can be when you are appreciated and cared for the way a person should be,\u201d she wrote at the time. Presumably, this was a reference to Jarrod.<\/p>\n<p>Clearly, both <em>Storage Wars<\/em> exes have moved past their erstwhile relationship.
