Unlike traditional point-to-point rally racing, rallycross puts those cars on a circuit, but with similar racing over dirt and gravel surfaces, as well as plenty of jumping and drifting through turns.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">There were six EVs and four ICE cars in this weekend\u2019s races, and by the end of the first weekend, EV racers took up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiaworldrallycross.com\/a\/news\/w28193_Rainmaster--Kristoffersson-does-the-double-at-rallycross--Magic-Weekend\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">three of the top five spots<\/a> in the provisional championship standings.
