Ice Spice<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s friendship with Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> is rock solid \u2014 even in the face of haters.<\/p>\n

The rapper, 24, hit back at audience members who booed \u201cKarma,\u201d a song by Swift, 34, that features Spice in a 2023 remix of the original 2022 track, when it was played during her set at Austria\u2019s Rolling Loud Music Festival on Sunday, July 7.<\/p>\n

Video footage of the moment shared via X<\/a> featured several people in the crowd gesturing thumbs down as the track plays.<\/p>\n

The \u201cPrincess Diana\u201d singer\u2019s response? Spice, whose real name is Isis Naija Gaston, blew the audience members a kiss before shaking the moment off and continuing with her performance.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTaylor Swift and Ice Spice\u2019s friendship is iconic. The two artists first teamed up for a remix of Swift\u2019s song \u201cKarma\u201d in May 2023. At the time, Swift said in her Instagram announcement about their collab that she was a \u201cmassive fan\u201d of the \u201cbrilliant\u201d Ice Spice (real name Isis Naija Gaston), calling her \u201cthe [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Swift released the remix of \u201cKarma,\u201d originally heard on the October 2022 Midnights<\/em> album, in May last year and spoke out about how much she enjoyed working with Spice on the version.<\/p>\n

\u201cCollaborating with Ice Spice on \u201cKarma\u201d was one of the most natural things,\u201d the Grammy winner said in a Spotify audio clip at the time. \u201cShe reached out through her team, just kind of saying, \u2018Hey, Ice has been a big fan of Taylor\u2019s since she was a little kid, would love to collaborate if that was ever something that came about.\u2019 \u201c<\/p>\n

The musical pair have been friends<\/a> ever since, attending various events together including the 2023 MTV VMAs and the 2024 Super Bowl<\/a>, where Swift\u2019s boyfriend Travis Kelce<\/strong> played.<\/p>\n

Swift also spoke about her admiration for Spice to Variety<\/em><\/a> via email in September 2023. \u201cI relate to Ice in many ways, but I think her dedication and focus is what blew me away from the very start,\u201d<\/p>\n

The Cats<\/em> actress told the outlet, \u201cShe\u2019s extremely professional without being cold. Playful and fun without ever taking her eye off the prize. She knows what is and isn\u2019t \u2018her\u2019 and sets those boundaries with grace. It\u2019s her ability to carefully find that balance that impresses the hell out of me.\u201d<\/p>\n

For her part, Spice is equally adoring. During the first weekend of Coachella in April 2024, Swift and Kelce, 34, were spotted in the crowd enjoying Spice\u2019s set. During the festival\u2019s second weekend, Ice Spice gave her girl a shoutout while performing \u201cKarma\u201d (Swift was not in attendance that weekend).<\/p>\n
