No hard feelings.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cI said, first of all, it\u2019s so shortsighted to say, \u2018Oh, this is a lesbian movie.\u2019 I mean, they happen to be lesbians. They happen to be into women, but it\u2019s really a movie about trust,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
Still, Gershon was adamant on playing the role, looking back on the character\u2019s story.<\/p>\n
\u201cPlus, when does the girl get to play the hero, you know?\u201d Gershon said. \u201cI thought, well, I could cut off my hair, cut off my nails, have no makeup. I get the girl. I get the car. I screw over the mob. It\u2019s a win-win all around.\u201d<\/p>\n
