The 67-year-old \u2018Forrest Gump\u2019 actor\u2019s boy Chet Hanks, 33, used the term in an Instagram post in May in which he said summer 2024 was a \u201cwhite boy summer\u201d in a post that said: \u201cI have consulted with the heavens, felt a westward breeze, and walked outside of a strip club and saw my shadow\u2026 this will be a #WBS #iHaveSpoken (white church emoji.)\u201d<\/p>\n

Chet also released his song \u2018White Boy Summer\u2019 in 2021 after being inspired by Megan Thee Stallion<\/a>\u2019s song \u2018Hot Girl Summer\u2019.<\/p>\n

But he has now slammed neo-Nazis for co-opting it in a furious Instagram post in which he raged: \u201cWhite boy summer was created to be fun, playful, and a celebration of fly white boys who love beautiful queens of every race.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnything else that it has been twisted into to support any kind of hate or bigotry against any group of people is deplorable and I condemn it.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI hope that we all can spread love to each other and treat each other with kindness and dignity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nChet hit out after the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism warned the \u201cwhite boy summer\u201d phrase has been \u201cco-opted by far-right extremists to promote hate and bigotry\u201d.<\/p>\n

\nIt added: \u201cThe far right is adept at bringing their hateful ideologies into the mainstream, especially through the use of social media, and the already-viral \u2018White Boy Summer\u2019 has proved to be the perfect segue for them to spread their bigotry to a wider audience.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nChet\u2019s \u2018White Boy Summer\u2019 song includes the lyrics: \u201cI met a bad little shawty at a party dance, Gettin\u2019 to the bag like it was her only chance, Rich b****, known to run up them band, Said f*** it, then she went and made an OnlyFans, uh Hot boy, white boy summer.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nHe has previously defended the tune after he was hit by huge backlash over it on social media.<\/p>\n

\nChet said online in 2021: \u201cI just got this feeling man, that this summer is, it\u2019s about to be a white boy summer. Take it how you want.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI\u2019m not talking about Trump, NASCAR type white. I\u2019m talking about, you know, me, (the rapper) Jon B, Jack Harlow type white boy summer. <\/p>\n
