Rachel Lindsay<\/strong><\/a> is back on the dating scene after her split from husband Bryan Abasolo<\/strong><\/a>, but her standards have changed since the last time she was on the market.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m very open to dating. It\u2019s weird because I am months out from the separation \u2014 we are past it. Now I\u2019m in a place where I don\u2019t necessarily want to get into the details of it, but I want to talk about the healing process, because it\u2019s very real,\u201d The Bachelor<\/em> alum, 39, said during her Wednesday, July 3, appearance on Scott Evans<\/strong>\u2019 YouTube channel<\/a>. \u201cAnd I\u2019m in this weird space where I am still in my 30s, I am divorcing and I don\u2019t have kids. [But] I want kids and I want to date.\u201d<\/p>\n Rachel revealed that she\u2019s trying to fight off her \u201cbroken wing syndrome,\u201d where she \u201cdates guys that I see potential in.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI see [that] they are a good person, but maybe they need a little guidance or a little help. Rather than dating the person who is already there,\u201d the attorney said. These days, she wants someone who is \u201cstable and secure.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI can no longer date for potential. I have to date somebody who knows who they are, knows what they want, is secure in who they are and are not intimidated,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n Rachel also said that she\u2019s having \u201cfun\u201d right now with dating and shared some of the other qualities she\u2019s looking for in her partners.<\/p>\n \u201cI would have to be swept off my feet to really be like, \u2018Oh, he\u2019s The One.\u2019<\/a> I\u2019m trying to have fun and have a roster,\u201d she said, noting that her age range is between 45 and 55 with some \u201cexceptions to the rule.\u201d<\/p>\n She also noted that she\u2019s no longer worried as much about \u201cphysical\u201d attributions. Instead, she said, \u201cI do want you to be loyal, have a personality, adventurous, charming and maybe even a little corny. \u2026 I want them to be ambitious but also very understanding.\u201d<\/p>\n Rachel met Bryan, 44, on season 13 of The Bachelorette<\/em> in 2017. After accepting his proposal at the end of the season, the two tied the knot in 2019. However, the chiropractor filed for divorce from his wife<\/a> on January 2, Life & Style<\/em> confirmed at the time via Los Angeles court records.<\/p>\n Bryan addressed the split shortly after the news broke.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew. My parents have been married forever and I\u2019m a family man but sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go.
