General Hospital<\/em><\/a> star Kate Mansi is engaged!<\/span><\/p>\n Her fianc\u00e9, Matt McInnis, announced the news on <\/span>Instagram<\/a> on Thursday.<\/span><\/p>\n “Apparently today is a holiday, but I think July 3rd was even better,” McInnis said of his proposal just before the Fourth of July holiday.<\/span><\/p>\n In the photo, the producer bends down to kiss Mansi’s forehead. As McInnis holds her in his arms, the 36-year-old actress rests her left hand on McInnis’ chest, with her ring finger that’s adorned with a shiny new rock clearly visible.
