In a new Vanity Fair interview, Kevin Bacon revealed that he used to daydream about walking life a normal person.<\/p>\n
The \u201cFootloose\u201d star said he sported an intricate disguise, featuring fake teeth, an altered nose and glasses, to live out his dream of experiencing life as a regular dude. <\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not complaining, but I have a face that\u2019s pretty recognizable,\u201d he told the publication. \u201cPutting my hat and glasses on is only going to work to a certain extent.\u201d <\/p>\n
Still, he decided to fully commit to the temporary transformation. <\/p>\n
\u201cI went to a special effects makeup artist, had consultations, and asked him to make me a prosthetic disguise,\u201d Bacon revealed. <\/p>\n
The actor revealed that he wore his custom camouflage getup to The Grove LA. \u201cNobody recognized me,\u201d he recalled. Though his plan worked, the actor realized that he had rendered himself somewhat invisible.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople were kind of pushing past me, not being nice,” he said. “Nobody said, \u2018I love you.\u2019 I had to wait in line to, I don\u2019t know, buy a fucking coffee or whatever. I was like, This sucks. I want to go back to being famous.\u201d
