Andrew Lincoln recently spoke with Empire and talked about the death of a beloved Walking Dead character.<\/p>\n

“I do still think [Glenn\u2019s death] might have been when we over-egged the omelet,\u201d Lincoln said. “Maybe it was lingering too much<\/b>.”<\/p>\n

Filming it was among “the most intense nights of shooting I\u2019ve ever been part of,” he added, despite the irony that Negan actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan is “one of the nicest guys you\u2019re ever going to meet.”<\/p>\n

He had to do this extraordinary monologue on his first day at work, and everybody was on their knees and weeping when they weren\u2019t on camera,” Lincoln said. “[Morgan] came over and went, \u2018Is this normal?\u2019 I went, \u2018Yeah, everybody just keeps going.\u2019 It was an extraordinary night.”<\/p>\n
