The \u2018Dead to Me\u2019 actress, 52, announced in August 2021 she had been diagnosed with the chronic autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system or brain and spinal cord and has now told fans what dreams she wants to fulfill before her death.<\/p>\n
She said on X on Wednesday (03.07.24): \u201cThere are things I want to do with the days I have left in life. <\/p>\n
\u201cI want to work with Shirley MacLaine. And do shots with Cher! And yes my days are so big. Just saying.\u201d<\/p>\n
Christina said on X in the wake of her MS diagnosis: \u201cHi friends. A few months ago I was diagnosed with MS. It\u2019s been a strange journey.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition. It\u2019s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some a**hole blocks it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSince her diagnosis, the actress has been transparent with her fans about how the illness has affected her life and career.<\/p>\n
\nShe told in November 2022 how she had put on 40lbs and could not walk without a cane due to the disease.<\/p>\n
\nThe \u2018Married\u2026 with Child\u2019 star added to the New York Times: \u201cI\u2019m never going to accept this. I\u2019m p*****.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe has also shared the frank admission she is wearing diapers because she cannot control her bowels due to her MS.<\/p>\n
\nChristina has admitted she has 30 lesions on her brain and had lost circulation in her legs during her health fight, and the Emmy winner recently admitted she now does not \u201cenjoy living.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe said on her podcast: \u201cThis is being really honest\u2026 I don\u2019t enjoy living. I don\u2019t enjoy it. I don\u2019t enjoy things anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe later stressed it was only her expressing \u201cdark thoughts\u201d as she thinks doing so is \u201cincredibly healing and important\u201d and is not \u201csitting here on suicide watch\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
