The \u2018From Dusk to dawn\u2019 actress, 57, paid tribute to the \u2018Top Gun: Maverick\u2019 star as he celebrated the milestone on Wednesday (03.07.24), after the pair have spent years as close friends and film making colleagues.<\/p>\n

She captioned an image of them on her Instagram Stories showing the pair glammed at Victoria Beckham<\/a>\u2019s 50th birthday party in April: \u201cHappy birthday dear @tomcruise (three party popper-blowing emojis.)\u201d<\/p>\n

Mexico-born Salma added the same message in Spanish, with it reading: \u201cFeliz cumplea\u0144os querido @tomcruise (three party popper-blowing emojis.)”<\/p>\n

At the time of Victoria\u2019s 50th, Selma posted a photo to Instagram of herself and Tom as well as her husband Fran\u00e7ois-Henri Pinault, 62, and 55-year-old singer Marc Anthony.<\/p>\n

\nEven though Selma and Tom have never acted together on screen, the actor produced her 2006 film \u2018Ask the Dust\u2019, in which she appeared alongside Colin Farrell, the late Donald Sutherland and Idina Menzel. <\/p>\n

\nIn July 2022, the two friends were seen posing for photos outside a London restaurant after they dined with Selma\u2019s husband, to whom she has been married since 2009.<\/p>\n

\nSelma was far from the only A-lister who wished Tom a happy birthday on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\nJennifer Connelly, 53, with whom Cruise co-starred in 2022\u2019s \u2018Top Gun: Maverick\u2019, shared a photo of her riding on the back of the actor\u2019s motorcycle during filming for the movie to mark his milestone.<\/p>\n

\nShe captioned the shot: \u201cHere\u2019s to another trip around the sun. Happy birthday @tomcruise!\u201d<\/p>\n

\nWhile it\u2019s unclear how Tom is spending his birthday, he was most recently seen spending time with Gillian Anderson and his longtime \u2018Mission: Impossible\u2019 co-star Simon Pegg during Coldplay\u2019s performance at this year\u2019s Glastonbury Festival on 30 June. <\/p>\n

\nBefore that, Tom was seen in the VIP section of Wembley Stadium watching Taylor Swift\u2019s concert on 22 June along with her boyfriend Travis Kelce, as well as Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher and Greta Gerwig \u2013 with a video posted on X showing the group dancing to Taylor\u2019s \u2018Shake it Off\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
