So, she took to TikTok Live \u2014 not only to quash these rumors, but to excoriate the trolls writing them.<\/p>\n
\u201cLike, no I\u2019m not pregnant!\u201d Alana confirmed.<\/p>\n
\u201cI haven\u2019t even graduated high school yet, okay?\u201d Alana then reminded these creepy weirdos. <\/p>\n
\u201cI want to graduate,\u201d she emphasized.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to go to college before I even think about having kids,\u201d Alana assured. \u201cSo no, I\u2019m not pregnant\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
It is very reassuring to hear that Alana will not be following in the footsteps of her mother, or her sister, or her other sister \u2026 okay, of a lot of members of her family.<\/p>\n
(We can also acknowledge that, in some of those cases, becoming teen moms was not entirely their choice. This family lived in unthinkable, unimaginable poverty for many years)<\/p>\n
But it\u2019s not like someone simply issued a claim that Alana was pregnant and some unusually rancid<\/em> tabloid circulated it as news. Instead, commenters made this up on the spot. All because they saw Alana in her gorgeous prom dress.<\/p>\nThink that we (and Alana) are fabricating the hate? Think again.<\/p>\n
Body Shaming Comments From \u2018Fans\u2019<\/h2>\n
\u201cYeah not a flattering dress\u2026I thought she was pregnant for a min! Plenty of other dresses that would be more flattering, just have to dress for your shape,\u201d one vile comment reads.<\/p>\n
\u201cI thought it was a gender reveal,\u201d another despicable Instagram reply snarked. Awful, nasty <\/em>stuff \u2014 and they all posted it where Alana could see it.<\/p>\nAs Alana shared her gripes and quashed these body-shaming allegations on TikTok.<\/p>\n
Alana seems to be doing that celebrity thing where she cannot distinguish hateful trolls from people making solid points, so she claps back and then tunes them out.<\/p>\n
