Additional casting for the upcoming second season of The Sandman<\/strong><\/a><\/em> has been revealed!<\/p>\n Netflix<\/strong><\/a> has announced several new cast members who will be joining the show for it\u2019s new season, including Douglas Booth<\/strong><\/a> and Ruairi O\u2019Connor<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n The series, based on the DC Comic series by Neil Gaimain<\/strong>, the Sandman, aka Dream \u2014 the powerful cosmic being who controls all our dreams \u2014 is unexpectedly captured and held prisoner for over a century, he must journey across different worlds and timelines to fix the chaos his absence has caused.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Season two will be pulled from the collections Seasons of the Mist<\/em> and Brief Lives<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cEach of these characters is as powerful as Dream \u2014 nearly as clever \u2014 and far more ruthless,\u201d showrunner Allan Heinberg<\/strong> shared in a statement with TUDUM<\/a><\/em>. \u201cTogether, they will ensnare Dream in a web of palace intrigue, glamour, demon battles, and spider-sex. Orpheus is an idealistic, romantic, young man \u2014 and very much his father\u2019s son \u2014 until tragedy strikes and reveals to him the true nature of love.<\/p>\n Freddie Fox<\/strong><\/a> as Loki, the god of chaos. Loki is a charming, seductive shape-shifter. The smartest and most dangerous person in any room, Loki is utterly irresistible and never to be trusted.<\/p>\n Clive Russell<\/strong><\/a> as Odin, the father of Thor, and blood-brother of Loki. He is a longtime ally of Dream\u2019s, but finds himself driven to desperate extremes in his efforts to stave off Ragnar\u00f6k. <\/p>\n Laurence O\u2019Fuarain<\/strong><\/a> as Thor, the storm god. With his hammer Mjollnir, Thor is brusque, rude, and driven entirely by his appetites for food and drink, battle, and sex.<\/p>\n Douglas Booth<\/strong> as Cluracan and Ann Skelly<\/strong><\/a> as Nuala, royal emissaries from the court of Faerie. Nuala and Cluracan are siblings who are opposites in every way. Nuala is responsible, empathetic, and principled. Cluracan is an impulsive rogue who lives for pleasure. They disagree about everything, except their devotion to each other.<\/p>\n Jack Gleeson<\/strong><\/a> as Puck, a malevolent hobgoblin who serves as the royal jester to King Auberon of Faerie. Puck is fascinated by mortals and enjoys nothing more than making sport of them for his own amusement.
