Al Pacino<\/a> was there. Javier [Bardem] and Penelope [Cruz] were there\u2026 and, you know, everyone was really acting.<\/p>\n\n\u201cI think we both sort of have the same slight uncomfortable-ness [and we] started giggling at the absurdity of the whole thing.”<\/p>\n
\nSuki admitted they were so disruptive with their laughter, they “got told off”.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: “There was a director that separated us because we were laughing too much.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe pair didn’t swap numbers or see one another again for “six or seven months” but Suki knew the night “had percolated” something between them.<\/p>\n
\nShe recalled thinking: “I think Rob\u2019s quite funny, I light up when I\u2019m around him.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nShe added: “[Living in LA] \u201cdefinitely became a lot more fun when I met him\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nThe couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, into the world in March and were excited to being “more chaos” to their lives.<\/p>\n
\nSuki said: “We really planned it.<\/p>\n
\n“One day we looked at each other and said, \u2018Well, this is as ready as we\u2019re going to be.’ <\/p>\n
\n“I was like, \u2018What can make more chaos?\u2019 “<\/p>\n
\nThe ‘Daisy Jones and the Six’ star found out the gender of her baby before giving birth.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI wish I hadn\u2019t wanted to find out, but I needed to prepare myself mentally.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nAnd the \u201cinstant\u201d she discovered she was having a girl, the ‘Supersad’ singer called her \u201cmum in floods of tears\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nShe recalled: “\u201cI was like, \u2018Oh, my God, am I going to have to go through what [you] went through with me?’<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI was just such a little b****. [My mum] usually loves telling my terrible teenage stories, but she was like, \u2018No, no, you were great. You were amazing, you were fine.\u2019 “<\/p>\n
\nSuki loves seeing Robert with their daughter.<\/p>\n
\nShe gushed: “He was there with me [for the birth] and like all dads, he was really nervous, but for someone who\u2019s quite an anxious person, he\u2019s been very calm.<\/p>\n
\n“[He is] the dad I could have hoped for. I mean a dad and his daughter? It\u2019s an actual love story.\u201d<\/p>\n
