Kyle MacLachlan<\/strong><\/a> is looking back at his time on Sex and the City<\/em><\/a> with a fondness \u2014 even some of the scenes that haunt him.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are a few, a handful [of scenes] where I think back and I go, I mean, you just have to close your eyes and jump in and you\u2019re just like, \u2018OK, here we go and trust that everything is going to be OK,\u2019 which it was,\u201d MacLachlan, 65, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> late last month while promoting his partnership with Arby\u2019s and the return of their Potato Cakes. \u201cThey were a lot of fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

MacLachlan had a recurring role on the comedy-drama series from 2000 to 2002 as Trey MacDougal, the first husband of Charlotte York (Kristin Davis<\/strong>.) Looking back on the role, MacLachlan noticed there were similarities between Sex and the City and his new campaign with Arby\u2019s.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s fun, it\u2019s silly, it\u2019s goofy. It is going to make a lot of people happy because they\u2019re so excited about the idea of the Potato Cake coming back because they love them and they are fantastic,\u201d he said. \u201cWe don\u2019t know how long they\u2019re going to be back. That\u2019s the whole thing, but the whole idea of this is that let\u2019s have some fun and enjoy this journey together.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCraig Blankenhorn\/Max Sex and the City spinoff series And Just Like That is returning for a third season \u2014 and the upcoming episodes are already the talk of the town. The original series, which ran on HBO from 1998 to 2004, focused on Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her dating life in New York alongside [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Trey and Charlotte\u2019s love story wasn\u2019t endgame in SATC<\/em>, MacLachlan wouldn\u2019t be opposed to reprising the character on the Max revival series, And Just Like That<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet me get my contract out here. Anything is possible,\u201d he teased. \u201cAnything is possible. Who knows?\u201d<\/p>\n

If MacLachlan was to return for And Just Like That<\/em>, he could see Trey being an owner of an Arby\u2019s franchise.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would be open to a cameo,\u201d he told Us<\/em>. \u201cI think that could be a very interesting direction, a new direction for Trey. He owns an Arby\u2019s and he\u2019s enjoying his potato cake. That would be fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

He could also see a scene where he and Trey\u2019s mother Bunny, who was played by the late Frances Sternhagen<\/strong>, feeding him in the bathtub, which would pay homage to the iconic scene from the original series.<\/p>\n

\u201cSadly, Francis is no longer with us,\u201d he said of Sternhagen, who died in November 2023. \u201cBut I\u2019m sure we could figure out [how] to make that work.\u201d<\/p>\n
