Flavor Flav<\/strong><\/a> is such a big fan of the Olympics and he decided to step up when he learned about the struggles that athletes go through to get to the games.<\/p>\nU.S. women\u2019s water polo captain Maggie Steffens<\/strong> recently revealed that \u201cmost Olympians need a 2nd (or 3rd) job to support chasing the dream (myself included!) and most teams rely on sponsors for travel, accommodations, nutritional support, rent\/lodging, and simply affording to live in this day and age.\u201d<\/p>\nFlav<\/strong> has now signed a five-year sponsorship deal as the official hype man for the USA Water Polo Women\u2019s and Men\u2019s National Teams. <\/p>\n \u201cI realize how unexpected this partnership is,\u201d said Michaela Spector<\/strong>, Director of Marketing, USA Water Polo. \u201cFlavor Flav<\/strong>\u2018s star power and passion for supporting athletes will bring a new level of excitement and visibility to water polo.
